Speaking to a friend from the west region, they have accepted the results and his community will not rise up and go to the streets when called to tomorrow. Wazees from his community have been talking to them and their youth reminding them that his community has never benefited from baba. So it's starting to look like only one or two communities will go to the streets kesho if baba orders. BBI will solve it :)

This is what I can say: Raila maybe insisting for a Pyrrhic victory, and this is counter productive. The thinking he's espoused so far can't work. It's time he retreated and allowed a new generation of leaders to take up the mantle. There needs to be a coup within the opposition, if he and his close friends can't read the times.

NASA's Letter to IEBC
10th August 2017 Mr. Wafula Chebukati Chairperson IEBC National Tallying Center Bomas of Kenya Nairobi Chairman, RE: PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION RESULT Article 86 of the Constitution requires as follows “At every election, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission shall ensure that— (a) whatever voting method is used, the system is simple, accurate, verifiable, secure, accountable and transparent; (b) the votes cast are counted, tabulated and the results announced promptly by the presiding officer at each polling station; (c) the results from the polling stations are openly and accurately collated and promptly announced by the returning officer; and (d) appropriate structures and mechanisms to eliminate electoral malpractice are put in place, including the safekeeping of election materials.” We have information of the actual presidential election results contained in the IEBC database. The data, which confirm the authentic and legitimate result of the presidential election, shows that the two leading candidates obtained the following votes: ● Raila Amolo Odinga 8,041726 votes ● Uhuru Kenyatta 7,755,428 Votes Screenshots of the results as displayed on your website and monitors at Bomas show the following results: ● Uhuru Kenyatta 8,056,885 ● Raila Amolo Odinga 6,659,493 Evidently, the accurate and lawful results in the presidential election is the transmission received from the polling stations and contained in the IEBC servers. We have annexed the following: ● The actual and complete data contained in IEBC servers (dbo.PRESIDENTIAL_REAL_TIME); and ● The screenshots obtained from the IEBC website. We therefore demand as follows: 1. That you stop forthwith the display of unverified and unauthenticated results. 2. That you allow political parties to download all the Forms 34A and Forms 34B to enable them to verify them expeditiously. It is practically impossible for political parties to verify all the 41,000 documents with only two terminals that the IEBC is providing. 3. That Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga and Hon. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka be declared as the President and the Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya. Sincerely, Hon. Musalia Mudavadi Chief Agent, NASA Coalition Sen. James Orengo Alternate Chief Agent, NASA Coalition

Can we agree that IEBC has outdone itself this time round, apart from infrastructural constraints in some areas causing delays the voting was quick transparent and so far no back room business has been seen, Kenyans have also been very involved from nominations to campaigns, voting and now the tallying, the GoK has also shown maturity by not interfering with internet as has been the norm in Africa. Were it not for baba this would have been an example of a good election, next time I would like this improved -network coverage. -better access in terms of roads -better civic education, we have too many rejects. -quicker tallying, I don't see why it should take 4 days with not more Than 700 per stream. -I think vying candidates should not hold pressers during tallying any issues be forwarded to iebc. -the current formula of allowing party techs system back end raw info of 34A & B is very good. To Each His Own

Chebukati now pulling no punches as he responds to RAO strange demands. "There is only one body mandated by law to run elections" " We are an independent body not subject to directives..." " A Candidate can not give us results..." Just as absolute power corrupts leaders, so does absolute fanaticism blind the people from logic

And yet Kenyans cannot jump around and celebrate a clear victory, you have to pretend like it's a "normal day" in case you annoy the losers, we have dangerous and bitter tribal leaders that people cannot celebrate election victory, when shall we be free? Ukabila kweli Ras Kienyeji Man

Tomorrow after results are declared the government must give a stern directive to all media houses not to air any press conferences from NASA which will obviously have been designed to incite
