By 2022 Kanu will have been out of power for 20 years. There will be people voting in 2022 who will have been born after Kanu lost power. Jubilee will have been in power for 10 years in 2022. That is enough time to make enough mistakes to get some people disgruntled and imagine a glorious past in the Kanu days. Politics is very dynamic and you cannot write off a once household brand name like Kanu.

If what was input in even 1 polling station in the "portal" is not what was in the form 34a, the IEBC must check ALL the other form 34s. The law sio bloggers paradise. I'm thinking this is the reason FRM2011 was sooo insistent on counting their votes even in mashinani.

In my personal view, Uhuru may win but I wouldn't read anything coming from that portal until the OFFICIAL results come in. Na bloggers wa Nasa on Twirra tafadhali, there are also chances that Uhuru increases his lead with manual tallying.

Independent candidate Japheth Kavinga has conceded defeat after provisional results show he is sixth in the presidential race with 11,256 votes.

Mr Kavinga says he sees no chance of bridging the gap between him and the leading candidates.

If Raila is a true leader he should groom and name a successor. ODM is still a formidable party. The Luhya have been very loyal to him and naming a Luhya successor would be the ultimate thank you.

How now? The results from the website have some differences from the said forms as can be seen in this KHRR report. Why can't they change?

Either way, the best Joshua can get from these results is a runoff, which I highly doubt.


Let's hope the discrepancies will add about 2m votes to RAOs basket coz that is the only way he can beat UK. Yes, 2m in discrepancies.


Keeping all other facts constant as at now, all RAO maybe praying for is that Uhuru's numbers are reduced by at least 637,340 votes to force a run-off.

That 'somewhere' is the RTS database which runs on a database which could be either MS SQL or Oracle. Also note that there is the main KIEMS DB which contains voter biometrics and all other details. This most likely is Oracle because of the intensity of tables and transactions it handles which MS SQL won't handle well

Na hawa watu wa Nasa. Kumbe that tallying center in the clouds was just fake stories. Surely by this time, they should have had all their agents data in their own database. Like a 20k laptop.
