Emotions emotions. From both sides.
There was a court case that was delivered that it seems people did not take seriously. Remember the one of results are at the polling station?
I supported it because of two reasons
1. The losers usually start screaming in Kenya that results were tampered with.
2. There has always been an underlying doubt about those media events at bomas.
So ODM is saying that the current results showing up at the IEBC portal are not the right ones.
For a moment let me as someone who works with databases explain. Yes, it is possible. Even Americans were hacked.
However, don't get too much into IT speak. Or you shall get ulcers. Yes, it is possible that someone hacks into the IT system and changes results. That is why we have guys like Masukuma with jobs. To figure out how and what happened.
However, Kenya is not voting electronically. That is something that seems lost on people. Kenyans vote MANUALLY results relayed digitally.
What the IEBC has done so far is just brilliant. Though the results are right there for us to see in their portal. They have YET to release the results.
So yes, Raila can complain all he wants about hacking a results tabulation computer. But the law in Kenya is very simple. It's form that one sijui 34a b or c or whatever they call it. Those are the real results.
As long as IEBC has not announced those ones I see no reason for Raila's statement.
When IEBC finishes tallying it's form something, they will announce the results.
So until IEBC makes a statement, then it's premature. If Nasa did its work, they can then bring out their copies of form something or another.
There is a hacker who can hack into any system. However, there is yet to be found a hacker who can hack form 34 whatever. Raila should chill a bit and also tell the IT guy that his job was done na amlipe pesa yake.
Thieves are not good people. Tumeelewana?
