Gosh!!! Today is the D-day and nobody has started a specific thread on it. We always talk about the media hype by the english press but surely its more than that.

How i wish there was an english team in the finals.....Even the ones i love to hate.

As predicted, Inter have taken it and perhaps justice was fully done. This Bayern team had reached the finals via the backdoor.

Bayern expected Inter to play defensively and were greatly shocked when Mourinho's lads continued attacking even after they took the lead.

This Mourinho man is truly a special one.

# Nottingham Forest are the only club to have won the European Cup more times (twice) than they have won their domestic league (once). Forest won the English League in 1978 before winning the European Cup in 1979 and defending it in 1980.
# Nottingham Forest also have the unfortunate distinction of being the only winners of the European Cup to have later been relegated out of the top two divisions in their country (they remain in the English football league system's third tier (Football League One) today)

What I'm wondering is; would Inter have won it without Milito? But I guess that's a question for another day as it makes no difference now. Congrats Inter!!!

BBI will solve it

What a match. Thoroughly entertaining. Footie at its best.

Jose Mourinho brought Milito to Inter. Make no mistakes. Jose plotted Barca's downfall by not watering the pitch. Guy is good. He does not stop at anything if it helps him win.
