why do people go to the polling station at 3,4,5am knowing well they'll stand in a queue upto 10am then proceed to bitch about how long they've been queueing? one of the many peculiar kenyan habits that make no sense. mimi polling station ni saa nane kama kawaida when unaingia na kutoka as you please.
All my friends are heathens, take it slow. Wait for them to ask you who you know. Please don't make any sudden moves.

We are clearly headed for new records in voter turnout, long queues formed as early as 4am in many areas, almost all areas. Review your hesabus with high voter turnout. smile

No no they are not bitching.Let people express themselves. They are exercising their democratic right as they also observe the happennings.

Trust me its exciting to meet at 4.00am kwa foleni. The chats are quite animated.About 1k of my squad has voted.

Its peaceful where I am though abit slow.

Hesabu models had about 82% turnout(8.2m for the winner). Turnout in the following counties most crucial Nairobi, Nakuru, Mombasa and Kakamega.

Still working the data for post polls analysis.

I have never understood why people will be at the station hours before opening time.

We all know opening time is 6am! Everybody will get 1 vote whether you vote at 6.30 am or 6.30 pm!!

1.To vote early and go back home before goons get ideas.
2.To avoid solar ya mchana
3.To go back home and do other things like general cleaning as they wait for results.

Tibim. Seems they go the message and clear. They have said no to UMK and yes to Baba.

This is the problem of queuing from 3.00am. The voter is munching Githeri very seriously. You can predict his voting preference

I give IEBC a strong A so far. Nyeri voting proceeding well and KIEMS working across the county. Very few hitches reported. Our agents counting booklets as they get utilized.

Wafula Chebukati & Ezra Chiloba may go down in the annals of our history as the guys who fixed our messy electoral system.

One of the popular "brown chaget" crew or "propesa" has been arrested with two pre-marked ballot papers. He is at Nyayo stadium police station.

Now we know one of Jubilee's tricks. Our agents will be alert during counting. The votes have distinct security features.
