@arresteddev Sebastian said that he is not in the business of making KQ a cheap airline and that so long as the cabin factor for a given route are above 80%, we should not expect price reductions as his main aim is to make KQ profitable, not cheap! This share will explode upwards in the next few days.. I really don't know why people aren't seeing the opportunity at hand.. Minimum price post restructuring and post consolidation shall be above KES 8.52, that is the only thing wazuans need to remember.
Meanwhile Mbuvi Ngunze as board advisor has committed to use of all his exit package in purchasing of KQ shares as commitment to his vision and new foundation on which KQ now stands

But that means they won't be able to fill high capacity planes and ET will continue to dominate Africa!Disposable income in Africa is very low and hence people are price sensitive.

It shows he does not understand the market and this is going to be a challenge once again. It is a case of Safaricom & Kencell/Airtel.

I believe what he meant was the routes on which KQ has dominance, not a blanket high price regime

Listening to CEO of Ethiopian airlines. Key lessons mgt of KQ need to learn.
Ethiopian govt doesn't put any money into the airline.
Choose routes which are profitable.
Financing is mostly by US Exim Bank and internal finances. Exim Bank guarantees buying of new planes.
Banks which then loan them are JP Morgan, Citibank, Barclays
They have been flying to china since 1973.
Airline is managed by aviation professionals who are young and highly skilled . The ceo started as a ticket cashier/handler.
They have launched their fifth destination and even have a flight to singapore.

Price shown is wrong. Correct price is 8.50. We demand to be given access to the NSE server to post the correct price.
