People flee Nairobi, Nakuru....If I may ask who has created and painted an environment where people feel like fleeing to homogeneous quarters is the way to go.
Who do people - suppose if it were to happen – whose supporters would start the problems!
Nobody is fleeing to anywhere, schools are closed and many people like to travel upcountry with children after schools are closed.
Many plan to return before the poll date and others are just headed to where they are registered.
I guess I'm also "fleeing"
Taking my kids to stay with their cucu today for the next 4 weeks. I guess even all my neighbors are fleeing. we flee every holiday.
It's a school holiday dummy. Parents tend to take their kids home and give their mboch a break so that they can use the kitchen and living room for other extra curricular activities.
It's not about hols man, these are elections. The movement other times is very minimal
If you live in some areas, you first have to secure your family. No risking.
The issue isn't limited to Nairobi. In some small towns people are moving too. People have taken more than a week off
It will be great when we get back to a place where elections don't cause much tension. For now, don't blame anybody securing their families
