1. When people’s mind are made up, it is just as good as final, an example is Trump Vs Clinton.
2. Politics is a game of numbers, popularity and strategy, you have to get people talking. Has President Kenyatta not showing up not now making people talk more about him? YES. It is making him more popular and giving him name recognition. He’s the most important figure in the pack and a million others will bring him to facebook just as you have done. Absenteesm is part of political campaign, it’s a message to opponents that they are no match, he is busy, he has performed well as a President and there is nothing to talk about, he is on his way to victory.
Very interesting indeed.

Very interesting indeed. No, she lost the slim majority she had, and in fact, many votes were pretty upset that she did not show up to answer questions,and on the rare occasions when she did, she was incoherent and over rehearsed. I think her days at #10 are numbered. I am happy

The presidential debate organising committee did a shoddy job. They should at least have the courtesy of consulting all participants equally. Kalonzo,Uhuru, Ruto are excellent debaters. Why did they opt out? Baba is a cunning old man. I'm very sure if Uhuru decided to participate he would have missed. work to prosper

Hubris is a classic indicator of the loss of contact with reality, and an over estimation of one’s own competence, accomplishments or capabilities. Showing a middle finger to your employer by refusing to turn up for a job interview believing you’ve already got the job is hubris. Refusing to spend 90 minutes explaining to your employer why they should give you another 5 years in the job is hubris. Illustrating to the citizens who intend to decide on their next employee at State House that they’re beneath you and it’s a waste of your time to engage with other candidates is hubris. But I think you already know this Mr President. I believe you know it because you’re foot soldiers have been all over mainstream and social media trying to fix the way you screwed this pooch. There are some times you can walk the cat back to salvage the situation. But hubris will never allow that to happen. Have a respectful day good people.

Kenya is a tribal country and a debate is not going to change anybody's opinion on who to vote for. UK knows this and he decided to play it safe by not showing up. If there are undecided voters out there, it's probably less than 0.0001% (basically a handful of people) and they too will probably eventually vote based on tribe and not agenda. This is Kenya, a debate is a complete waste of time. In fact it is completely useless in all of Africa. It doe not change a thing, people will vote for their tribesmen, debate or no debate. The only people who are complaining are the people who didn't have anything better to do and feel bitter because they were deprived of something to entertain them on a lousy Monday evening and hence nothing to talk about on Tuesday morning when they meet their friends over tea. Nobody wanted to see the debate because they felt like they could be swayed one way or the other and that's why it was a waste of time. This is Africa man, it's not freaking USA. We are tribal and debates will not change our tribal inclination at all . UK lost exactly 0.000000% votes by skipping the debate. Let's not lie to ourselves.

That is the whole truth. UK supporters were disappointed he did not turn up but not enough to sway their vote. The last opinion polls showed that the most undecided were from Western.The difference is therefore next to zero for UK.
