The young lad would from Muruguru who would go on to become the youngest MP in Kenya's history at 21. A record unlikely to be broken anytime now. He had just left Muruguru secondary school and joined Kimathi technical. The seat had fallen vacant after Waruru wa kanja (son-of-wairimu) castigated the Kanu govt after Ouko's death. A convenient charge of handling foreign currency illegally was brought up against him. He lost his cabinet post and Nyeri town seat. Across the road from their home in Muruguru is Wamathai's home. Current Nyeri governor. On the other side of the highway, in Githiru, you have Esther Murugi and Wanyiri Kihoro homes. They are immediate door neighbours. You cross chania and find yourself in Thunguma. PG Mureithi is their most famous son alongside Dr. Kamara of Thunguma cultural centre. Used to be Thunguma High those days. As you rejoin the highway at Skuta, there is a petrol station which used to be owned by one of the most powerful men from Nyeri. Hon. Kanyi Waithaka. Moi's minister of internal security during the 1991/1992 clashes. He had replaced Kibaki as the Nyeri kanu branch chairman. PG Mureithi would later oust him in 1997. Kanyi's wife was running for MP in Tetu but lost to newcomer lawyer Gichuhi from Kiawaithanji. Current MP Githinji came a distant fourth. A lucky kid born with a silver spoon. Dad was MP for Tetu in 1992 but died before he could finish his term. They own Kihingo village in Kitisuru. Remember Waiguru's Kes. 100M home. Githinji is the developer. I support Baba 100%. Having said that, may I inform you that the upcountry folk that you are looking down upon are not as uncultured as you imagine, they have less contribution to the ongoing social media diatribe compared to the urban elite that you seem to elevate. Maybe you should read the history of all the broggers in Odm and TNA to understand that you are actually making his point. Soma tu, uje utueleze hapa. All of them to a man are from a certain village. Came to Nairobi. Could not get a job. Then Kibaki vs Raila happened. Then they found a niche. All of them from odm and tna have a knack of talking in their village languages. All of them have support from their same village mates. All of them are hoping that their "man" wins. So that they can get a job in their "man's" gov't. And I mean all of them. If that is not village mentality, I don't know what is. Don't try dragging other hard working Kenyans who came from the village and depend on how good they are in their professions. That is not the meaning of village mentality. In other words. Village mentality does not mean that someone came from the village. It means that one has to always fall back to their village to make a point. You cannot get a better defination than the current broggers. Thieves are not good people. Tumeelewana?

He was all for Jubilee until he was rigged out. He's not shy saying that Jubilee honchos rigged him out. Nyerians do not follow the grain.
They vote for who they truly believe they want to vote for. Not because someone is in Jubilee or ODM. Otherwise, we would never have had people like Waruru Kanja who told Moi off. The only strange Nyerian is Kibaki.
The rest are exactly what FRM2011 is behaving like. And we should embrace him and support him coz without Nyerians, you guys would still be lining up behind the nyapara.
He's a great chap who even told us tge real reason behind his fervent support for baba. I remember even in 2007 he didn't vote for Kibaki. But telling us sijui everyone is independent hiyo ni uwongo. Na hiyo ingine ya kutuokoa kwa mbeberu iko na mjadala mahali pengine...suala nyeti Mimi pia niko na village mentality kidogo. I will try as much as possible to prove that the Nyerian is great. FYI. Even as we speak I don't know who my grandmother is voting for. She's just watching that TV station from Nyeri every day. If you want to learn journalism, just watch that station. The people who come there are from Nyeri and not shy to attack Uhuru or Raira in equal measure. Not that Kameme Fox news wannabie station. Thieves are not good people. Tumeelewana?

We should never celebrate. Some of us traverse the country, we interact with all people, and our children are out there all over... @hardwood, we need those Kisumu guys, we need Eldy guys, don't be blind. You are unlikely to make much progress here. When you attend a village primary and secondary school in ndenderu. Then a diploma at githunguri echnical institute. Listen to kameme Radio and watch kameme tv, read the people daily and hang out with guys at reke marie pub in downtown nairobi. Your world view is hopelessly skewed. But am glad God seems to be cleansing the land of the "undesirables" as we get ready to realize the dreams of the freedom fighters. This is the lowest you can go "although you have a different opinion do not abuse a whole population by calling them undesirables" we have sons and daughters who have attended the said local schools and are good citizens of this country. Some of us attended the same schools you are undermining and I can tell you for sure we turned out right. The "undesirables" I was referring to are the four lifeless bodies at Lee funeral home of old men who have committed unspeakable atrocities against defenceless kenyans. God seems to be implementing the TJRC himself. The village worldview affects our brother @hardwood and his alter ego @harrydre most. We are many. #1millionfornasainmtkenya So if you are not in NASA you have a Village worldview?Marenge maya! This can be inferred;in a different thread, while trying to rebuke a jubilee supporter ( fake moral high ground),he actually ended up disparaging all Jubilee supporters, i called him out for that. I think it does not help if you are trying to make a case for what you consider to be as narrow mindedness and lack of exposure on others but do that by demeaning other people. To me hakuna tofauti hapo. This is why I don't see the points of long lectures here on wazua, most of it is pretense. I do not have time to read any of the blogs, whether by Jubilee or NASA, honestly.I am not sure i know any political blog links and i do not need them. My point is that these blogs are mainly read by urban folk, not the ones in the village. Good spin for him on the 'village mentality' his post is about location ( only for Kikuyus)- he was not talking about mentality or ideology. Hating on people, demeaning and disparaging etc will not endear NASA to them. I am out. I am happy
