Tough luck. If I were voting,I would vote MM If we genuinely want a leader to sort Nairobi then that is Miguna, PK comes second and the rest should be out. But since it's operation Kidero out! then Sonko it is. I agree...but nimecheka yangu yote...comedy central. If Miguna loses he can join Churchill Live. Agreed. The thought of Sonko as Governor is scary to say the least, but, what can he do worse than Kidero? Sonko is a man misunderstood.. He had a clear conscience and a heart for the people HF 30,000 ABP 3.49; KQ 414,100 ABP 7.92; MTN 15,750 ABP 6.45

I watched the debate hosted by an overly biased joe ageyo(he is so obviously ODM) and another pro-odm reporter okwara. What i found amusing is that Sonko actually held his own despite the obvious contempt from the intellectuals. Infact PK and Muguna would make faces to the audience whenever Sonko referenced some chapter in the constitution or said something intelligent or even referenced his past record in the legislature.. The most dramatic scenario happened when Kidero(in his concluding remarks) foolishly asked the audience who they will vote for and everyone shouted Sonko! Our good dakatri turned red, then green and then blue. Luckily it was a live show and the not-so-bright ageyo or okwara could censor this. I actually had rated Kidero highly but now i think Sonko has it all figured out and seems capable of running Nairobi Dumb money becomes dumb only when it listens to smart money

I had the same feeling too but the moment Muthama was imported to campaign for him under the auspices of "Wakamba" - andu mbaitu(outright tribalism) i knew that things were desperate....I think "Wa-Kamba" if not careful will be shafted thoroughly this 2017 elections. They will end up with no serious representation in the national assembly/senate and executive. They have their own "Mu-Kamba" vie-ying for governor 047 and here they are being told to wait for 2022 for Mueke to be given the governorship on a silver platter just like Kalonzo thought the presidency will be given to him on a "sinia ya shaba." Mueke himself has no pedigree how is he going to be given? I wager that Sonko will carry the day alfajiri na mapema....Ukabila itatumaliza Dumb money becomes dumb only when it listens to smart money

That debate, I remember kidraw and pk falling over themselves trying to speak swahili- in a veiled attempt to impress n show they can match upto sonko. Paradoxically sonko had switched to Swahili not necessarily by design but coz he couldnt match the kind of english these guys were spewing. But it shows you whos the pace setter on this race...

I actually had rated Kidero highly but now i think Sonko has it all figured out and seems capable of running Nairobi The debate was horrible, there were no issues discussed exhaustively as the time allocated to every respondent was too short, the questions were rather broad and meaningless. The media was unprepared and did not challenge the respondents to substantiate their very thinly veiled reasoning. No fact checking of responses. The participants veered off topic and targeted their opponents whenever they could not answer simple questions posed. Miguna Miguna was actually very well prepared to debate and could articulate his position. The other 3 looked lost and vague with Kidero coming off as the worst of the lot. This debate told us nothing. "The purpose of bureaucracy is to compensate for incompetence and lack of discipline." James Collins

And the panelist guy would always ask questions 'in the order the candidates came in'..with kidraw being the last. But even this did not help him. Wonder how much had been exhanged below the table..

I don't see how he will do this He's uninspiring and has failed to showcase whatever he's done(I refuse to believe a governor can do zero in 4 years. My MP with 60M CDF funds can show you projects here and there!!) Also, check 2013 figures. Roughman Waititu got 612K vs Kidero's 692K. That's at a time when the song everywhere(including wazua) was 'Governors should be managers, not politicians'-whatever that meant. Now people have seen Kidero. I doubt they're impressed. When you hear people who voted for Kenneth in nominations in the greener side of the city say they will vote Sonko... My biggest issue with Sonko is not even his rough nature. It's the unga connection. At least Kiambu did well to eject that other fellow in the industry though Mombasa will still give us another industry leader

Leave the Unga alone. Sonko is the man behind cartel grabbing land with expired leases. But has managed to convince almost everyone that he is the saviour. Do you remember the phone phone conversation he recorded talking to an alleged grabber. Listen to it again.

Will be waiting...though I remember listening to some mountaineers around TMall area saying they can never vote Waititu. I know many who said the same. Maybe they were negligible. Like 5K? Kidero then had better goodwill than this time By the way, Kenneth getting 300K votes will eat into whose votes?

It is only Sonko and Miguna and perhaps PK that are not basing their hopes on the tribal card.....The other day Kidero invited folk from KAG church and is on record telling KAG faithful that Mulembe people in Nairobi that form majority in KAG are 300k and that they should vote for him on the basis that mulembe = NASA and since Kidero = ODM and ODM = NASA so KAG = Kidero...hiyo arithmetic hata mimi ili ni lewesha.. Mulembe have been lied to that leadership will be given on a silver platter through the lake(just like in 2013 both the spineless ma-dvd and kalonzo are the common denominator). On the other hand Kenyans are being lied to that the "THIRD AND FINAL" liberation can only come if baba is president....note the emphasize on the word "final" but i digress Dumb money becomes dumb only when it listens to smart money

Last elections, Odhiambo got the the tribal votes, Kao votes plus the Watitu rejection votes, yet it was still too close to call. This time I hear Kaos are voting for baba presidential and their son Mbuvi governor. Last elections, Kaos voted overwhelmingly for senator Mbuvi, that's how he got the highest individual number of votes in the country outside the presidency. PK was rejected at nominations so he ain't getting the kyuk vote and if we talk of dividing the vote, won't Miguna divide Odhiambo's votes? BBI will solve it :)
