I knew you had no facts..

Hehe @jitahidi kuwa mpole. @maka admitted he was drunk while posting that lie

He said "I am back"...ummmh deduced to be am back at KQ...corrected my story 1 month before businessdaily printed itsmile

Fair enough

ION things are very quiet......

Lets keep it that way boss.. KQ management must have deep introspection prior to announcement of the new share issuance price. Previous talks of KES 5.50 per share have been rejected by the minority as well as GoK, but again the company cannot float a rights that is higher than the market price unless H1 results push us to profit, which is likely

Uncertainty holds sway!

Deep uncertainty right now.. Nobody but PJT, MJ, MN & SM know what the eventual price may be.. And even they are not 100%.. This is the problem with valuation of a loss making entity, especially when new dynamics are introduced such as the capital restructure. Genghis stated KES 1.2 per share which borders on insanity.. KQ should not be trading at less than KES 10 pre-rights

Gava should just liquidate this monkey and start another airline, "Madaraka Airways" free from the choke of corrupt managers, agents and staff unions

5 key questions to ponder prior to dismissal of PJT Partner's KQ restructuring deal and its subsequent ripple effect on the share:
1. Exactly/approximately how many new shares are being created?
A. Not less than 3.5B new shares
2. What price was agreed for the purchase of each new share
. Or maybe this wasn't discussed?
A. This will only be known upon shareholders approval to the arrangement in late September.. Speculation to a positive skew will therefore be at play until then, due to the capital restructuring success
3. Will the new issuance imply that minority shareholders get diluted with no recourse
pro rata
?
A. No. Every existing shareholder will be offered a chance to defend their rights so as to retain proportionate holding.. However it is likely to be a large cash call
4. When will KQ turn a profit
at the earliest?
A.Half year 2017/2018
5. Why are there no bulk sellers since the cautionary statement filtered out. Could it be that investors are eagerly waiting to sell at KES 2 to @spikes & Co
A. Recent volume and price activity suggests upwards trend with upper limit of KES 10 per share a live possibility

Its my time to eat but I will not eat alone.. Those with nerves of gold, and balls of steel.. Come ride this bull.. But make sure that you are able to defend your rights upon eventual declaration http://live.mystocks.co.ke/m/stock=KQ

Here we go on point number 2 & 3.. I have been assured an early peek of the circular by this weekend and am ready in kamikaze demeanor, to defend plus increase my stake http://www.businessdaily...0202-11ghsn1z/index.html

Hehe.. Watu wanajokes. Cartels are busy pushing the share price down and buying more.. It would be tragic for the current investor should the company fail to rule that the cautionary statement date is the record date for dilution ratios. Indeed it would be high street corruption if new investors for the purposes of a rights issue are allowed into the shareholder register at this time, after all sacrifice borne by the initial minority shareholder

Operating Profit amounted to Kshs 1,839,000,000.00

Operating margin = (Operating Profit /Revenues) x 100.
= (1,839,000,000.00 / 70,743,000,000.00) x 100 = 2.6%

Out of every Kshs1.00 Kenya Airways collected as revenue in the year, it retained only Kshs 0.03, as operating profit after paying for the operational expenses incurred in getting that Kshs 1.00
It is out of that 3Cents that Kenya Airways is to pay out financial costs as well as taxes and the balance retained as profits for share holders.

Should we choose to focus only on the company’s core business operations, Kenya Airways operational performance for the just ended period is rather dismal compared to the previous periodsSad
 For 2010, Kenya Airways had an operating margin of 2.6%
 For 2009, the operating margin was 5.6%
 For 2008, the operating margin was 11.6%
 For 2007, the operating margin was 13.1%
Declining operating margins over time should be a warning sign to any investor. d'oh!

On average, out of every kshs1 in revenues that Kenya Airways collects annually, it has overtime paid more and more in operational costs. It could imply that the company is having difficulty in bringing in revenues considering that it registered slightly declined revenues compared to the previous year, or that the management is facing increasing challenges in improving the company’s Operational Efficiency.
The 54.5% decline in Operating Profits might explain why despite reporting 148% improvement in earnings, the share registered a 8% decline in trading price as soon as results were published.

A lot is learnt by observing Operating profits trend over time, but it should not be the only factor one considers when planning whether or not the Kenya Airways shares are a viable investment.smile

When is debt conversion expected?

Not earlier than September 2017.. It however could be much later incase a court case arises, which is very likely should the dilution factor ratio by KQ be insincere. A corporate fraud will definitely be challenged.. Its impossible to imagine that the new shareholders buying at current prices will enjoy participation in the planned rights

1. On what basis would bank agree to a conversion price above 6 bob bearing in mind the negative equity position?
2. Assuming that the conversion price is even 6 bob.. for the local banks alone that would mean around 4 billion new shares created.
3. Hata wacha hiyo analysis ikae.....

.....I rest my case. #Yaliyondwele_Sipite
