Are we going to sit here and pretend we don't know Baba is in Kiambu county today ?

Itinerary as follows; Limuru, Gitaru, Wangige, Ruaka, Northern By-pass,Kiambu Town, Old Kiambu/ Ruiru Road, Thika town, Juja (bridge), Thika Highway
-Githurai roundabout.

Lots of love and political maturity from Kiambu residents who are 90% Jubilee damu.

For those who would want to ask why Kiambu ? This is Baba's most critical vote bloc in the entire Mt.Kenya. 80K in 2013. Looking at >100K this time.

I rarely comment but word on the ground is that those guys you saw on TV yesterday got 30k each. The financier is known and his goose is cooked.

Si 30K ni kidogo sana !! Anyway, nobody thinks Kiambu guys will vote for Baba. The crowds were expected. There is a guy in Wangige who has never seen Baba upclose.

What is really encouraging is that as a society we are inching towards political tolerance. That is a huge step in the right direction.

Why would anyone want to eliminate a perennial loser, one who you are always guaranteed to win against? It would be a terrible mistake to remove him from the race.

Boss, this is normal. Happens every 5 years without fail yet his security entourage is as big as WSR's.

BBI will solve it

He should be given maximum possible security. Election periods are emotionally charged and divisive and could lead to violence if anything happens to senior leaders on both sides(UMK,WSR, RAO, SKM...three promisees wachana nao)

It's not just your opponents. Al-Shetanis from across the border are a big risk

Benazir Bhutto of Pakistan was killed while campaigning by Al-Qaeda who are linked to the servants of Satan in Somalia!

Good observation there bro. I once read a most fascinating article about the 1992 elections. Moi was advised by the then special branch that the most dangerous thing for him would be the death of any of his serious challengers. Matiba, Kibaki and Jaramogi. Not only would he be blamed for it, but it would have resulted in an unbeatable opposition unity.

So the elite presidential guard were deployed to guard the three, with a special focus on Matiba. Round-the-clock security. Interesting thing is that the candidates and their own amateur bodyguards never knew. Had Kibaki been a ruthless machiavelli-type power greedy guy, taking out Matiba would have guaranteed him a straight pass to statehouse. Same for Matiba.

That is a wise decision. There's nothing to gains for UK as the incumbent. The best debate will be in 2022 when all the candidates are new.

BBI will solve it
