Leaking Plastic Tank

I have installed a 1000ltr in the house ceiling which has a small crack (2cms) at the base. Any recommendations for a good fundi who can fix it? Replacement is a no-no as it would mean damaging the truss and roofing.

Need an expert seeing that any mistake or shoddy work can flood the entire house Brick wall

I'm not an expert but I think there are only two options
1. Replace the tank(recommended)
2. Drain the water and get a chomelea kupiga kiraka i.e kama anaweza ingia ndani ya tank
If Obiero did it, Who Am I?

Not elegant..I suggest DIY
There are many videos on youtube,for e,g
check this one from time stamp 6:50 i,e if the crack is on the side..

Asante, let me check out the DIY options. But being a crack at the base and a ceiling tank, would still want a pro to repair..

Thats tricky..how did the crack happen?From experience with other repairs,I have found the so called pros to be wanting..

Fundi left a small stone which the tank pressed on.. crack happened after 1.5years

From my own experience:

- Had a crack about 6 cm long. Repaired it using the product below.
It has been good for the last 5 years.

Company name : Alteco
Product name: 3 - TON
Product Description: Quick Epoxy Adhesive.

You will need to drain the tank and let it dry completely. Hair dryer can speed the process.

Then follow the instructions on the package.

I bought it from a hardware shop in Yaya Center.
It should be available at most good hardware shops.
You may need to get the same product but a different make.
