They accuse the CRBC human resource boss Navy Wang of demeaning them by saying that, “You Kenyans are very many and desperate for jobs, so this is a favour we are doing you”.

Who can help me in these Mathematics/accounting?
-Spent shs 430 Billions to build SGR -Ticket range from shs 700- 3000 -Capacity per travel......? -Operation costs per day (Labour, food, water, fuel, taxes and commissions, )
Question- How long will it take to repay that 430 billions roughly?
This is all I want!!!

This is all I want!!! Government is not in the business of making returns on investment.It is facilitating business and providing basic amenities. I can also pose these questions: How long will Thika Highway break even? How long will it take the government to recoup its money on the security cameras? .......etc

Total Port Cargo Volume = 27 million ton (includes transit/bulk,conventional cargo) No record of humanitarian cargo but my estimates are 9,000teus(will ignore this) Containerised cargo only was 1.1million teus 2017- (Additional cargo handling capacity) Teus Projection=1.6 million Assuming that 1million teus will use SGR 1m× kes 50,000= Kes 50,000,000,000 430b payable in approx 9yrs. We have not factored other types of non-containerised cargo or revenue from passenger services. Correct me if I am wrong. There has been tremendous growth in volume with the addition of a 2nd container terminal whose cargo handling capacity is apprx 500k teus.I have therefore put my 2017 projections at an average 1.6m TEUS. So if SGR=1/3 of 1.6m ×50,000/= Annual TEUS revenue= 27billion Now add conventional cargo,(it's billed per weight or volume and not teus) transit cargo (give a low estimate of 20,000 teus yrly)and passenger revenue. This is all I want!!! Also, who can help you in this other mathematics/accounting? Government spent billions to build ndakaini dam and tunnels to supply water to nairobians, which they sell very cheaply. How will they recover the billions? They should have abandoned the projects and let mkokoteni guys sell borehole water to you at 5 bob per mtungi.

A welcome relief BUT why complicate this by calling, they sure don't have enough lines to handle the traffic, a website like jambojets, an app or ussd like the okoa stima one would have been better, lets see how it works. To Each His Own

They can actually do 10 passenger trains per day (5 from nbi and 5 from mbs) and also do 10 cargo trains each night (5 from mbs and 5 from nbi). That is 20 trains every 24hrs. That way the reli will be well utilized.

How many passing loops does this track have, how many trains can be safely and efficiently deployed every hour on this track, We need the numbers on these queries so as to speculate on the anticipated revenue, The single track coupled with issues of efficiency and safety will be the bane of this project, How I wish they would have done the double track then open up the rail to different investors of passenger and cargo services 'One headache for famous medieval holy people was that someone might murder you to acquire your body parts for the relics trade'
