And on this matter of 'guarding votes' can naswa come out clean what is the basis and if anchored in law. Since Police are the ones mandated to provide law and order, are we going to have parallel group of civilian providing police services at the polling stations. This either means law and order has broken down or will break down on material day.

Some of us are now afraid to even go out and vote

Oliver Mathenge is usually a Jubilee blogger masquerading as a journalist.

This tweet proves that. The CJ has issued a clarification complete with the verbatim transcript.

There is no connection between what the CJ said and what was reported by our pathetic media.

I know you know what it means but guarding votes simply means the announcement by the PO which happens late at night will be recorded live. Form 34 will be photographed and forwarded to our tallying center.

At Moi Avenue pry school, we have an agent for president, governor, senator and women rep. For mp, MCA each of our parties have their candidates who will have agents. See where the number 10 comes from ?

May I say it now that we have a backup in case someone shuts down the internet.

Your boss is on record talking about 50 youths 'guarding votes'. That the youths will have voters list, which they will be cross checking whenever someone votes. At some point during the day, since they will be knowing who has voted and who hasn't, they will go and carry them juu juu to come and vote! I have no words. Does this man live in 254? And this tallying system, does it mean he doesn't trust iebc or what?

There was an official communique confirming 10 per station. Of course in places like Nyeri & Kiambu the guarding will most likely be done by a guy carrying a false flag.

Tallying by many different people only enhances transparency. Hopefully, media will carry out theirs as well

We wont buy your argument, we know exactly what yr boss is fantysising. On tallying, of course this is done without much fanfare. But with the dust raised by your boss on this matter, it means he doesn't trust the institution mandated to run the election. And they know it. Naturally you tend to resent such a person

It's only a matter of time before RAO disowns him, and follow it up with a cry of 'korti bandia'.

If he disowned his "friend" Mutunga and called him korti bandia, Marangha should be next.

That will be great. More votes in our basket!

That's voter intimidation. Illegal and could lead to cancelation of results in that station.

If you want to know what Raila will do for Kenya just look at what ODM has done for Nairobi, Mombasa & Kisumu then decide. I understand why watchman from Western tells me he has never and would never vote for baba. As a long time resident of Kibera, he is a first hand 'beneficiary' of Raila's development.
Why are NASA so afraid to tell Kenyans what they plan to do? Why keep to the old diversionary tactics that have not worked before? When you go to interview for a job, your pitch cannot be about what the other employee has done wrong with no idea on how to fix and do better.

BBI will solve it

He will fight corruption and ensure all members of his cabinet does and that they take responsibility of scandals in their portfolios as he takes political responsibility of the government like he did in the past.

"The High Court has declined to suspend the ballot papers printing awarded to Dubai firm Al Ghurair and asked the CJ to form a bench to hear the case.

Justice George Odunga ruled on Friday that NASA failed to convince the court that the temporary orders were necessary.

Odunga ordered that the file be immediately taken to Chief Justice David Maraga so he can constitute a three-judge bench to hear the dispute on Tuesday.

Lawyers representing the IEBC, Al Ghurair, the AG and other interested parties had put up a spirited fight for the court not to suspend the contract at this stage. The general election will take place on August 8.

The lawyers informed the court that they required time to respond to issues raised by the Opposition before any orders are issued.

They said they had just received the suit papers following a ruling by Odunga on Thursday.

"The court should not make an order that may frustrate or prevent the holding of elections as scheduled," said a lawyer representing the electoral commission...."

He knows CJ said there is no stopping the printing and all judgements done regarding this must conform to date 8817 for general election

Something tells me that the two of you are lying. I know you shall go vote. I'm 100% sure of that. So what you are doing now is lying...

Kwanza you are the fellas who will be looking at what your wives have voted. Go vote...No one is going to fight in this country again...If it is scare mongering you are trying...Please use other tactics to get votes. It's very repugnant to have grown people like you lying here that you will not vote because you are scared of raira. Aibu kubwa sana.
