Hi all,

i am a regular and a dedicated follower of our leaders...i believe what they preach and say is the gospel truth...nothing but the truth...they tell me to kill my neighbour and i do it without asking any question..they tell me to grow the food and they do the eating and i say amen...

despite being such a humble follower,i am now having difficulties in following my leaders when it comes to religion....why???

my PMpig got saved in May 2009 and was instantly baptised...infact i am the one who was carrying the towel for wiping away the water and ensured that his second dry similar suit did not have any folds, and the shoes were nicely polished...This is the picture that was taken during the baptism session then...

Pastor oduor of Holiness and Repentance ministry who did the baptising was very thrilled indeed that he had already added one to his flock...

...then come November 2009 just 7 months later he emerged from the HQs offices of legio maria sect a dedicated follower and i instantly knew tha pope Ong'ombe was a happy priest because he had harvested another one to join his flock...this is the photograph that was taken of him:

I am now totally confused.....i don't know what i will tell Pastor David Oduor when he sees this photograph and neither do i have the guts to face Pope Ramanus Ong'ombe when he sees the baptism picture.....

One thing i know for sure is that the Pastor and the Pope cannot reach my PMpig but i am a first line target easily accessible to both at any time and anywhere....so,what to do?????

This is mighty interesting. I also don't understand how many times one needs to get saved in a given year, perhaps once per month. Saved SKerians,@ ngwono, fundaah etal could help or shed some light.

I hounestly can't believe that this is the high flying Kenyan Prime Minister performing such petty immature religious theatrics! is this really important or is it a part of his portfolio?

@ tony stark,

the above events are not imagined and neither are they fake....they are real and they took place at specific days and different venues...

the question is,why should a very senior member in the government act in a manner suggesting that religion in Kenya is pure rubbish? i have never seen or heard this kind of peculiar behaviour from an educated person anywhere else...only in Kenya!!!

As a saved skerian this is my 2 cent......Baptism should be eternal. Most...and I mean a big percentage of people who get saved just make an emotional decision probably because they are going through a rough time and feel guilty...

Real salvation starts with repentance both of words and deeds....

We should repent and be baptized as you can see in

Acts 2:38 (New International Version)

38Peter replied,'Repent and be baptized, every one of you,in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

and there is only one baptism

UNITY IN THE BODY OF CHRIST

Ephesians 4:1-6 (New International Version)
1As a prisoner for the Lord, then,I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. 2Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. 4There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope when you were called— 5one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6one God and Father of all,who is over all and through all and in all.

Any person that does so becomes a true convert and you will rarely see them bragging about it on the telly or crisscrossing all denominations

....my 2 cents worth

@ ngwono

Long time...good to read from you

whom do you think the religious fraternity will endorse in the next elections and how can raila at the very least try and ponyoka with the supporters of some of the fringe churches. answer that and you will understand the gamemanship of agwambo. he is terrified of the wiper who unless things change will be candidate endorsed by the main churches simply because he is the cleanest of the lot. don't take my word for it go do some research this sunday. kalonzo is the peaceful meek servant leadership candidate the churches would want. but as they say the end justifies the means

My,my,my. It gets worse. The Right Hon is not actually getting saved. He is playing to the gallary,he is playing politics with God's Houses. And they say HETP is bad.

i don't think the church would dare endorse kalonzo...

in the least he does not seem meeker like you said...

@ ngwono,

This is what the LORD says: 'Cursed is the one who trusts in man,who depends on flesh for his strength and whose heart turns away from the LORD....... now here it means that my leader and i are already cursed to the core...kwisha kabisa!!

...but just wait,i do what i do because i need a loaf of bread for my family....if i don't carry that extra suit and polished shoes,if i don't speak in tongues when the time comes,if i don't attend those different churches and traditional rituals i may kiss bye bye to the stipends....i reckon that what my boss is doing is not right, but i don't have the courage to tell him so...

in general i am surrounded....Oduor,Ong'ombe,their die hard followers,my careless boss....aaaiiiiii ni kufyam!!!

if you were me,what would you do??? just quit and face the mob?

Hebrews 6:4-6

For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come,if they fall away,to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God,and put Him to an open shame.'

@ ngwono,

so far to date out of 795 viewers of this post only you and akowally have told me to quit and the rest i presume would like me to continue stirring the mud....it would appear that my problems with the boss are less when i am in than when i am out.

consider this....just as long as i am in,Ong'ombe and Owuor may truck me anywhere but will not touch me and the same applies to their followers....the minute i step outside the door that i have quit,i will face their wrath...they are already crying out aloud for my head and neck....come to think of it my sister.

@ mlefu,

hello friend....you have always helped me out of deeper problems...much deeper than this...have you forsaken me in my hour of need????
