Alfie can only win if he is alone on the ballot. That's how much he is hated in Machakos.

Before you say anything, take a drive to mlolongo. Get a seat at one of the popular hotels. I recommend tee-tot. Listen to the vibe as the news roll.

Kura haziko mlolongo/syokimau boss, tembea mashinani where the peasants got water and roads. Ask where T/Nithi votes comes from

Mlolongo is not representative of mayakos kaunti because it is inhabited by citizens from all over Kenya. I suggest you visit interior mayakos like matuu, nguluni, Tala, Mwala, Mitaboni, katulani etc and hear what folks are saying. They are with maendeleo chap chap 100% and don't want any vitendawilis. They have seen tarmac roads being build in just 3 months, their hospital equipped to first world London standards and they are the only citizens in Kenya with a people's park. They are all saying Mutua Tosha. #MutuaTanoTena #MaendeleoChapChap

Wish you could see the state of those vehicles. Luckily, the PR can't work at home. Check FB groups from Ukambani. If you are a real kiuk not born Tao, tune in to either musyi FM or mbaitu FM. Any kiuk can understand kikamba.

Mutua single-handedly transformed mayakos from some backwater rural county into Kenya's most sought after first world county. Only a fool (like From2011) would not vote for Mutua. Anyone with eyes can see the transformation mutua has done for mayakos. If all counties had a Mutua, Kenya would achieve first world standards in just 2 decades.

I am realizing most people here only know Mutua the spin doctor. Now the one on the ground. Below are three reasons why he can't be re-elected.

1. Personality. We know what makes Uhuru likeable. Mutua is the extreme opposite. He is a narcissist. Anyone who has ever come close to the guy hates him. He has to make sure you know who is the boss.

2. Irrational, PR-driven decisions. From Mombasa Rd junction to Machakos is 16KM. The entire road is lit by flood lights. Not the kawaida street lights. Same for people's park. And the 33KM tarmac road. Did I mention CCTV as well. Good for optics but what problem are they addressing ? Nobody knows. He specifically refused relief food this year despite the massive crop failure. Muranga is getting relief food but Machakos no.

3. Corruption. Machakos govt has produced very many multi-millionaires who rub it on the faces of residents. Don't forget he owes suppliers over 4B. His chief-of-staff opened a hotel worth 100M within the first year. He is from makueni and he sent invitations to all politicians who oppose Mutua for the hotel opening.

4. Jubilee. It's a dirty word to sell in ukambani now.

The "advancement" or "civilisation" of a society can be judged by the status of its public toilets. And here mayakos leads while all other counties follow....thanks to Mutua.

If Kenyans don't want maendeleo chap chap to attain first world status which Mutua brought them then that is their problem. You can take a donkey to the river but you can't force it to drink. Mutua has transformed mayakos to a first world kaunti and one has a choice of supporting the transformation or resigning to vitendawilis.

I am not a lawyer but I think the status quo is,she's out.

She would have to overturn that in a court law which would take time. Then IEBC can drag it through appeals.

Good riddance. If she stays in the cold.

Am also not a lawyer but I think it depends on how her lawyers argue her plea. If case is strong, court could issue orders to iebc to keep her name on ballot till case is determined...coz if there's an active case and her name is not on ballot, she woould suffer prejudice

Something's seriously wrong with this Wiper party.
By the way, is Kethi in jail for forging a government document? Ama what's the DPP's excuse this time?
Sometimes I forget we are in Kenya where justice is only applied on the poor.

it is actually pretty easy. all she has to prove is that she had long resigned from her party (the non-wiper one). and all she would need to do is provide a letter to her party and to the registrar of political parties. all these can be conveniently back dated and stamped appropriately if they had not been done (remember this is kenya). and any appeal, if she gets a half competent advocate, shall be hard pretty fast. she is most likely going to be in the ballot. of course it might all backfire badly and end up like the kethi case.
