The US Trade and Development Agency, under the Power Africa initiative, on Thursday awarded $1.1 million (Sh113 million) to Nairobi-based Xago Africa and another $500,000 (Sh51 million) to the State-owned KenGen

Article says that the Sh51 million is for equipment to tap more electricity from geothermal wells...so vague. The people who release this press releases take everyone stupid by using a lot of words to say nothing. The journalists who go for this press releases don't even ask for clarification and reproduce the press release as received.

Sh 51 million is peanuts in terms of equipment for Kengen.

For KK you will add 30cts but after they pay the dividend. Even with that, 12K appears to be in your favor. Still too early to call.
Time is money, so money is time. Money saved is time gained in reverse! Money stores your life’s energy. You expend your energy, get paid money, and store that money for a future purchase made in a currency.

Where are these volumes of 5M - 10M trading over several days coming from? From Kengen's shareholders list very few shareholders have more than a million shares. Do brokers bunch up small trades from wanjiku for several days and then trade them on a particular day to a big buyer? OR are these the untaken rights bought by PIC reflecting on NSE trades?

That's the riddle... Small trades at the higher end of the range then wham a huge trade at the lower end of the range, lowering the VWAP to the lower end of the range.

I am well. I admit I didn't see PIC allowed to buy the untaken rights after the Rights Issue. There's plenty of time left. At least, KenGen isn't being boosted by speculation like KQ. I remain bullish KK and plan to boost my holdings soon. Profits galore despite the challenges.

Infact the only difference is PIC.after they took the shares that was not taken during the rights, they continued adding more from the bourse. These helped increased the price.Without them the price would have been stagnant at 6.00-6.55.
