Land is too costly in Nairobi....a low total space/acre or ha. ratio would not make long term economic sense....so up they creep towards the skies
More baffling, at least to me is why most of the investment is going to real estate...no one wants to build a factory? An ultra-modern farming enterprise? All the money raided from county coffers and kickbacks....flats...hotels...office blocks..
We'll become a nation of towering, shiny glass edifices with no tenants and crumbling from the inside while food security is a problem and we are importing even basic finished goods which we can manufacture here
