Seems the attack was on the unsecured section outside just as concert goers had started exiting.

More work for local security teams. Primary, secondary and tertiary rings around such target venues.

I hope concert promoters and organisers are reading this.

Very sad.
I still get surprised when Britain is attacked. How do they manage to penetrate one of the best if not the very best counter—terrorism intelligence in the world? Will brexit be able to avoid this in future?

By the way, this was a teen concert on a school night, does that mean schools are on recess or this is normal there?

BBI will solve it

Home grown. All you have to do is pledge allegiance to some group online, get online and learn how to use home materials for bomb making. Technology has changed the game.

Give the prior probability of who does this often, It is likely the same allegiance as in many similar cases all over...I don't think we will be surprised...

So they found a second bomb and managed to contain the situation with a controlled explosion.

Second bomb was not at the concert venue but elsewhere.

Source Sky News.

Some of these questions on how to stop this are in Tycho territory.

Trump is a mad man and you can't change that. Quoting him here is a disservice to our intelligence.

This fella was British Born. A Manchester United fan and spoke queens english.

So other than taking all Muslims to the gulag, how do you suggest this is stopped? Why are young British and French otherwise normal children being converted to kill others?

It does not have easy answers and wazua commentary is not one of them.

Apparently 95% of people murdered as a result of the so called "Islamic" based terrorism are muslims. So, let's spare a thought for them.

If there was no religion that promised bliss after the death then perhaps such otherwise normal and intelligent beings would not seek to kill or die so desperately! Secularism might be a good starting point.

That is true. However with each occurrence, and with such regularity, such bombing has become a norm and may even be tolerated and explained away either via comparison to worse situations or via culprit's disillusion with their fate. That is what I don't like and believe it should be fought back vehemently. Being that 95% of victims are Muslims is not justification to go for the "infidels".

All terrorism acts must be condemned with that loudest voice! My post below is not justifying anything. Just to tell @2012 that you got the figures in reverse. Actually, it's 94% of terrorist are not Muslims. It seems you don't have real statistics.

Media reports: "All Terrorists are Muslims… Except the 94% that Aren’t"

CNN: Study: Threat of Muslim-American terrorism in U.S. exaggerated

CNN: Extremists of any color or belief can commit terrorism

According to this data, there were more Jewish acts of terrorism within the United States than Islamic (7% vs 6%).

@Alph, you also got me in reverse as well, please read my statement again. I said according to the US, 95% of terrorism VICTIMS are Muslims. 95% of people who have been murdered by terrorists are Muslims
