* Q1 profit before tax of 4.5 billion shillings versus 4.9 billion shillings year ago

* Total interest income reduced by 10.8 percent from 10.7 billion shillings in Q1 2016 to 9.5 billion shillings in Q1 2017

* Interest income from loans & advances declined by 7.7 percent despite the 15 percent increase in net loans & advances in Q1

Cooperative bank has given moi university loan to finance construction of 36-storey building near Laico regency hotel.
Project estimated to cost sh.2.5bn and the building will serve as its Nairobi campus hq

centum was given sh 9.2 billion for two rivers mall and now moi uni. 2.5 billion.thats a total of shs 11.7. Lets hope this is not a foundation of future NPLs.
