...a couple of years ago,i buried a smooth six foot 6x1 inch mahogany or is it red oak piece of timber in an anthill...a few days later i exhumed it and delivered it to a radioactive laboratory for carbon dating tests....the results were superb....the timber was aged 38,000 years with an accuracy of plus minus 100 years!!!
i then looked around for local archeologist who agreed with me that this was indeed a discovery of the millenium...he concurred with me that our ancestors were very advanced in carpentry technology and that it was possible they used tools like planars, saws, hacksaws, files etc...
the local archeologists kept in touch with the world reknowned archeologists and the artifact was presented in an international archeological forum. at this forum they could not agree as to the actual age of the timber piece and as such it was suggested that it be taken to laboratory with advanced equipment for further confirmatory tests...this time round the artifact was aged 37,500 years and i knew here that i was an instant millionaire if not a billionaire...
a few days later as i was flipping through the papers,i saw a picture of the local archeologist receiving a nobel price together with the $1m...reading the article further the archeologist in an interview had stated that he was not coming back to kenya since he had been offered a position as a senior archeologist in a foreign country following the discovery and that the money reward would help him settle his family in that country....
phew!! i would be dead now had i not woken up in time!!!!!!
