I like the way the stone dressing wa done. It will give a good rugged finish to the property.
Time is money, so money is time. Money saved is time gained in reverse! Money stores your life’s energy. You expend your energy, get paid money, and store that money for a future purchase made in a currency.

Additional lesson in real estate; try to always challenge the thought pattern of your project team. Obviously you will not over-ride the professionals, but learn to question their suggestions based on logic. The manner of querying should be subtle of course so as not to damage any huge egos..
Outer walling

Internal partition

Front entry wall complete

Corridor wall complete

Cheers. Yes. All non-load bearing walls are brick

Inspiring progress..I took the plunge after years of dreaming & planning on 20th May, 2017. Building a two storey apartment block composed of six 3 bedroomed units.. Taken a well deserved break (went broke) after walling & partitioning the ground floor.

I distinctly remember the palpitations I suffered thanks to cost overruns caused by challenging ground conditions. There I was peering into the extensive foundation trenches wondering what had I gotten myself into.... However it is so worth it. Determined to finish this project.... The hardest part was starting.

I have a couple of questions on low cost/affordable housing.
This is not entirely low cost housing but what is the profit a developer is expecting from a project like this in Milimani Kitegela? Assuming the plot is 1M and the build is 4.5M the profit should be 2.0M (offered for sale at 6.5M). Is this what people are clearing?
And at this price range, how long are developers waiting to clear the houses?
