Cutting ones nose to spite ones face is fine with some. Ati agreeing with nonsensical sentiment ati I have legalised whatever, just to be contrary. Knock yourself out, free world it is. Lets see you do what you want where Alphdoti and his ilk are on the ascendancy, being the majority. That is what and where it matters, not Wazua pahala pa domo domo.

Now you're talking "free world" Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

Why do you even dare condemn @burglar when he tells you that you don't really believe anything your Bible says, all is for beautification and rhetoric?

Why do you care carry that book under your arm to church on Sunday when you do not care what is written in it!

See what the Bible says about those human beings who have become lesbians and homosexuals:
'Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and WORSHIPPED and SERVED the creature (like men and monkeys) more than the Creator...' "BECAUSE THEY DO THIS (worshiping men and monkeys), God has given them over to shameful passions. "In the same way... the men burn with passion for one another (as sodomites and homosexuals)... ROMANS 1:25-27

Come on friends, don't speak so lightly about 'myths' and 'folk tales'.

After all, aren't all these positions of contention we're presenting, myths and folk tales?

And can we give some respect to the 'trans'? The people who'd identify with such a brand, because they are human?

How can we talk about other humans; who don't subscribe to our myths and tales? Civilization is about meeting other humans with and in love.

We must be critical in our appreciation of our heritage, knowing that contexts are always changing. Discourse is always getting more complicated and global. Universal perhaps.

You're right @swenani....

I REPEAT TWO POINTS:

1. for those parents who want to prevent this from happening to their children, please separate your children from bed from age 7. Protect their innocence. DO NOT create an opportunity for them to experiment on unnatural stuff.

2. beware of those "uncles" and "aunties" who come to visit or stay in your house. Because some of them might be active practitioners... DO NOT let anyone sleep in your children's room. If you don't have visitors room for the visiting uncles, let them sleep in the living room for day or two.

That's the best advice so far in this thread. It demonstrates your sense of morality. It is very sad that one of my close friend's experience living in Kileleshwa was that he had a close buddy who they were tight with since they grew up together.

Over the years, this buddy developed gangster habits of robbing from people. My friend reached out to him to change his ways and seek God and also prayed dearly for this guy. Later on it seemed to fall on deaf ears but my friend didn't give up on him and persisted.

A few months ago, he sorrowfully broke to me the sad news of his buddy having been gunned down in Kileleshwa after a robbery gone bad. He was deeply distraught.

All I can say, yes prayers do help but there are those cases where God's Spirit will not strive with man any longer, but will give them up to their ways and let them be consumed to their destruction. Lets just hope they have not crossed the line of no return.

God is not a respector of persons, and can choose to have anyone, anytime regardless of their will.. Think Saul, the persecutor of Christians, think Jonah, the runnaway, even the thief on the cross next to Jesus.. Why some seemingly die in sin, whilst others are 'forcibly' called into salvation is mambo ya Mungu
