There has been a barrage of Kenyan women thoroughly dominating distance events. This year alone, two Kenyan women broke the world record in the half marathon. And they thoroughly dominated the world cross country championships.

Now thanks to Jemima, they are all suspect. I believe some are cheating but many are clean. The world will not differentiate. The message all over the internet is that all Kenyans cheat.

I expect appearance fees for the top Kenyan runners will plummett. Its becoming impossible to be proud of the runners anymore hata wakishinda.

All athletes dope in one way or another, most dope in training. It's just about who gets caught today and who gets away. If all students in your school are cheating, why should you be the one to take a bad report form to your parents?

Anyway, I think we should have unofficial olympics where athletes are allowed to dope so we can experience the full athletic capability of a human being. Ama?

I think it has been mentioned before, but we can never have a level playing field, I mean you can not compare the preparation and resources available to say mo farah and the Ethiopians or Kenyans, but the prize money comes from the west, and thus they are the ones who come up with their idea of a level field, of course favoring their people, which is understandable.

Which is fine!! it's not an equal world.

The popularity of this sport has plummeted from its heights in the 1970s and 1980s because performances are no longer believable. Most fans would like to watch athletes run on natural ability. If they think athletes are cheating, they will tune out and go watch another event.

If it becomes a contest determined by which country has the best chemists, fans will lose interest. For one thing you might end up with a situation where one country wins all the events the way East Germany used to do.

Finally if sports allows freestyle doping, then it will become mandatory for everyone to dope in order to be competitive. This will permeate the youth levels and schools competitions. This is a disaster. If you are a parent, then at that point you must forbid your children from taking part in sports because the side effects of doping on grown adults are terrible. But the side effects on youth are even worse including: Depression that leads to suicide.
