Was income tax increased or why are they paying more for the lesser amount?

2015 there was a tax benefit from the investment deduction allowance following the purchase and installation of the new printing press.

For sure this is an industry in decline. The problem with digital media is that there is no single player to 'fight off' market share from. Digital by passes the need to have a content distributor which has been the main revenue for the media houses. Content is created and served directly to the audience. Anyone heard for example of 'Jemo ule mse' on YouTube? That's a good example of content created and served directly to a targeted audience.

I'm not seeing how NMG and SGL will recover from that. Unless they buy a stake in channels like YouTube. This will need a radical change in their business models. This would be a good time and especially now that they still have the financial muscle.

they need to pursue digital option to grow revenue.Unfortunately they dragged for so long before realising it.Foreign companies like multichoice and zuku are reaping big in digital while our own nmg and standard group are not near the equation.Thats too bad.i hope the mgt of these two companies will see the light.
