Russia's ban has been upheld by CAS. I am thrilled. I was concerned that CAS would deliver another bogus, ill-informed ruling like the one they made about Caster. I am happy. If you think about it from a logical progression standpoint, you can tell that Literally every Russian who has won gold in the past decade or so is cheating.

As for Kenya, If its true that AK officials have been demanding bribes to cover positive doping tests, then Kenya is skating on thin ice. It means AK behaviour borders on systemic doping as well. All it would take is one whistle-blower to go public with legitimate video evidence and Kenya is toast.


The only saving grace for Kenya is that the IAAF is itself corrupt and likely turned a blind eye to the corruption in Kenya. Especially during the Lamine Diack era. That may not continue under Seb Coe.

For Russia, they ought to use this ban as an opportunity to clean their act. But they aren't. Instead they are crying eti this is political. I wish they could be banned from other sports.

The sport of athletics has quickly become a joke to most casual fans. Bolt is one of the last few legit hopes. If Bolt is ever busted for doping, the sport may be finished. However I lean towards thinking Bolt is legit.

If calves blood is not on the list of banned substances then Bolt can use it.

These track athletes gulp and swallow almost a dozen supplements and stimulants every day. If you ever went to their house you would be appalled at the number of bottles of substances they have.
So long as they are not on the list of banned substances its fine.
If someone thinks calves blood is doping then they should petition to have it added to the list of banned substances.

no way, the russian thing was just politics getting into sports, the Jamaicans, american, Britons have had their top athletes fail drugs tests, from the leaked wada doc, the guys in the west know how to hepa the testing guys by locking themselves in bathrooms, or just TUE'ing the system.

I think it has been mentioned before, but we can never have a level playing field, I mean you can not compare the preparation and resources available to say mo farah and the Ethiopians or Kenyans, but the prize money comes from the west, and thus they are the ones who come up with their idea of a level field, of course favoring their people, which is understandable.
