I read in the dailies that the government will no longer charge for land searches. However, checking online it seems that has not been effected.

Kwani it's another false campaign promise?

bro i can see you are seeing your own things. land searches can and will never be free of charge.the government needs the cash. i foresee a future where they will increase the charge for the service.
Politics is just things to keep the people divided and foolish and put your trust in men and none of them can do nothing for you...

Help me understand these articles. I wonder how that can be made free, while it brings in so much revenue.

And you know Kenyans with free stuff. The lands office would be bombarded with unnecessary search requests....
