each and every time nasa announces that there will be a major rally with an even major announcement to be made. from mathare now we are off to tononoka for an even more bigger anoucement to be made. most of my nasa friends are now suffering from fatigue.
by the time they announce the big anouncement am sure there will be an anti climax

The strategy by the ODM side is to "tire" kalonzo into submission reason they praise him in every rally and the now frequent phrase "Where will any of the principals go if they bolt"

Do not underrate Kalonzo esp when pushed to the corner. rememeber how he ran away with the Chama and left Baba partyless for a moment.

I foresee a situation where NASA delays naming the candidate until the last day of the IEBC submission deadline and then Baba locks them in a room and sends his soldiers to deliver his papers as the candidate! Far fetched but all options are possible.

Rao travels to Coast days before Tononoka rally...apparently to have 'in-house' meetings to 'put ODM house in order'. Kumbe in those indoor meetings him or his foot soldiers were instructing all speakers to announce on the podium that he is the undisputed NASA flag bearer! ...This will now be replicated across other regions...before kalonzo et al know what hit them, all NASA regions SAVE Ukambani will have endorsed agwambo...

Is Weta still in the NASA race? He has been quite silent of late on his candidature!

He's probably paralyzed with fear. He knows what's coming but has no idea what to do

The NASA Circus fits well in one of the Aesop's fable below

C& P

The Mountain and the Mouse

A MOUNTAIN was in labour, and the people of seven cities had
assembled to watch its movements and hear its groans. While they
waited in breathless expectancy out came a Mouse.

"Oh, what a baby!" they cried in derision.

"I may be a baby," said the Mouse, gravely, as he passed outward
through the forest of shins, "but I know tolerably well how to
diagnose a volcano."

That clip rekindles some bad memories for the tseikuru man. He can actually visualize himself being shoved in that manner. He is demanding respect this time round.

Kalonzo has 2m votes and if babu doesn't support him, wakamba watakasirika and pigia UK. That leaves babu with 30% of the vote.

Kalonzo is ready to take on baba for the final prize although his chances are very slim. Seems Mdvd and Wet resigned to fate.

This won't happen. We betrayed our cousins twice before. At the very worst, kalonzo would run alone but Jubilee is a dirty word in ukambani.

The 2M votes from kamba land will not go to Jubilee but for sure a portion bigger than last time will.Maybe 40% which will have added to UKs basket compared to last time.

Are you telling the Kamba leaders who support UK have no followers
Joe Mutambu,Munyao,Mutua etc?

Don't go far for the answer to that question. In 2013, Kambas in Nairobi voted sonko to a man, but the presidential vote went to Rao. Look at the numbers.

There wasn't this bitterness...politically at least... by Kaos against Kiuks until one Muthama came to the stage and peddled this betrayal fallacy. Politics is nothing else but the art of the possible. If KM had joined Ubako before 07 election he'd in all likelihood be Pres now.

We are such a tribal country! I wonder why people get mad when kyuks vote for their tribesman yet we are all doing the same?

But is there any need of holding national elections in Kenya for the Presidency?
We could just hold a conclave. Have our tribal thiefs ..oops.. chiefs converge in a room in KICC on election day, each with electoral college-like votes equivalent ratio to their tribes' numbers then we wait outside for the black smoke when they have a winner. Wouldn't that be great? That way we can take our kids to the luna parks etc and save billions for our tenderpreneurs.
