becoz you have landing gear....

does not necessarily mean...

there is a ready landing strip....

so you either seek authorization to land.....

or....

you seek an emergency landing strip....

@ Edge, inategemea, ni kama vile shares go up when you think they should be going down and down when you think ^, sometimes it is even the headquarters of Thailand asking...how long...before this boeing 747 makes the decent and final approach to touch down on the runway.

...on a more serious note, Steve Harvey has written a book, Act like a Lady, Think like a man. In the book he talks about how he was on probation for 90 days in a company he worked for. Before the 90 days he was not supposed to enjoy any BENEFIT (medical insurance, etc). He says that a lady should withold the benefit for a significant duration. Quite a good read

Wait for clearance from the control tower, land with precision, and allow the passengers to disembark.

Thailand kumethuka!!! Its all red...blood, clothes etc.
...about thighland.... I am on probation. I have been demanding benefits but always being reminded that I have to complete the probabtion...
...But today, being a Friday and being loaded, I have to make an emergency landing. The landing gear has been on since morning. Can you suggest a place where I can find a good airstrip to make an emergency landing, one that has no potholes...

Kama umenyimwa more than 2 months, labda umewekwa kwa queue, awaiting landing. Yani kuna wengine wana land.

Wengine wetu. They are like those pirots who always say they can't land because of fog, but maymbe they need to wipe the windows. Yani fungua macho.

The longer she holds u, there r chances of flame out n crew fatigue....in such an event, a forced landing would be in order, on the intended runway or otherwise.
