Neither do I, but the market does not care about our trivialities.. Last boarding call on KQ for 2017

Triviality when discussing KQ but big deal when discussing HAL. This is a very sound approach.

I repeat, one KQ engine could buy out the whole of HAL and leave some change to buy some MUMIAS as well as UCHUMI.. KQ is a big deal. Would Michael Joseph ever join the board of HAL?

For a turnaround yes!

23 days to go.
Last boarding call issued.. Watch and learn

Who owns that engine? KQ or the bank, financier, GoK, AfDB?
Only 39bn in the hole.
KK's one liter of petrol is worth 39bn more than the shareholder funds of KQ.

It's nowadays the trousers feel tight with all the goodies that I can afford coz of a healthy dividend from KK.
KK made more profits on 6 March 2017 (just one day) than KQ will make for FY 2016-17.
BTW, I like MJ and he will help stabilize KQ but he should have replaced Evanson Mwaniki as soon as the first loss was announced. MJ could save KQ but for existing shareholders it is going to be a long haul. I estimate 6 years unless GoK converts debt into shares like it did in KPLC and NBK or a Strategic Investor is found who will help paybdown the debt e.g. CDC IN ARM or creditors take a haircut.

Good luck. And if you can pay cash, KK will be happy to sell you jet fuel.

2 years to get to this ruling... Unions need to be brought to heel. They want all the gains & none of the pain. Everybody but the shareholders benefitted from KQ.

We agreed with unison here that the losses were man made.. KQ should never have reported a loss in the first place.. Plain thuggery happened
