How has Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Kenya, Tanzania bowed to US! Being a responsible and an engaging nation is not equivalent to bowing to anybody. Iran’s reckless behaviour is not helpful to anybody, not even themselves. See how that attitude has shrunk their economy and limited services to their citizens. They couldn’t even buy planes to replace ageing and out of service fleet! Imagine where they would be as a people had they not lost those years enveloped in a squeeze. Their behaviour caused them debilitating sanctions that pressed them so hard that they were compelled to swallow their pride – agreeing to most intrusive inspection into their affairs on home soil! That’s a humble pie right there – self inflicted! What honour do you derive in having strangers squeeze you into letting them into your house to ransack your kitchen, bedrooms flip through your wardrobes, turn over your beddings to check what you are hiding there! Why bring yourself such humiliation, while pretending to be ‘tough’! Foolhardy. Then the supreme ‘sic’ leader continues on the slippery slope; Just as absolute power corrupts leaders, so does absolute fanaticism blind the people from logic

Why dont we stick to that for now. If you will, we can also talk about those other countries in a seperate discussion. But I can tell you none of them is as reckless and intrasigent as Iran. One can choose to deny all they want, but the reality is – Sunni and Shia divide is real, deep and fierce. Led by Saudi Arabia for Sunni and Iran for Shia, each side is forever strategising to outmanoeuvre the other. Left to their own devices they would obliterate each other. The sorry state of affairs in Syria has undertones of Shia, Sunni divide.
