This should be the ICEALION of NSE in the insurance sector

Whats wrong with ICEA LION

ICEALION has nothing wrong with it.
However its professionally run with no shady deals and inflating profits
How do you know? [Does it publish its AR for the public to scrutinize?] BTW, CIC is also on my Bandia Firms list!

@vituvingisana; ICEALION is as professionally run as NIC.The two firms have strong governance structures hard wired in their operations. CIC lacks this. In the past CIC has been plagued with scandals and it seems nothing much has changed.

There are only two emotions in the stock market, fear and hope. The problem is, you hope when you should fear and fear when you should hope

What's the NAV/share? What's the "cash+cash equivalents/share"?

Insurers offering life policies are set to post higher 2016 full-year profits boosted by a change in the regulatory requirement in accounting for liabilities.

Some of the revisions have been prompted by the Insurance Regulatory Authority’s (IRA) requirement that all life insurers should prepare their 2016 full-year accounts based on the gross premium valuation (GPV), which analysts say is less conservative compared to the previous net premium valuation (NPV).

A retraction on the earlier profit warning issued is coming

Great but the 2015 accounts must equally be restated using GPV standard so that a comparison is on apple to apple basis. This I believe is an IFRS principle so as to isolate the real performance from impact of standard change per se.
Time is money, so money is time. Money saved is time gained in reverse! Money stores your life’s energy. You expend your energy, get paid money, and store that money for a future purchase made in a currency.
