Thika is the only team with a semblance of a youth system. Though I don't know if their youth scheme still exists. I am glad they got a reprieve. I would rather see corporate teams like Ushuru and Posta Rangers demoted. And instead see teams like Kariobangi sharks and Zoo Kericho promoted. And of course Shabana.
Thesee mtaani teams like Jericho All Stars and Kariobangi Sharks draw much larger crowds than KPL teams like Tusker and Sofapaka. I hope some day Kenya will have a league full of community teams like these,. Even Shabana was drawing crowds when they were playing their home games at Kasarani.
