Trump is right. Why should the US take thousands of illegal immigrants from Australia?

A vast majority of these "immigrants" are fleeing instability that was directly caused by the actions of previous US regimes. And in the case of Australia, those people are refugees protected under international law.

Why cant Australia take them in? If kenya could take in 1m refugees why cant australia take in a few thousand? What makes them so special that they cant take in any refugees but want the US to have them? Also aren't these the same countries that have been telling kenya that is is inhuman to close camps and send refugees home? What kind of hypocrisy is this?

Nancy Pelosi accuses Trump of causing suffering in Yemen. Accuses him of being reckless and incompetent.

She "forgets" she and Obama presided over the destruction of Yemen, but lets not get in there because there is something yet more juicer.

Watch the democrats giving a standing ovation at the capitol to the idea of deporting illegal aliens committing crimes when Bill Clinton was president .....

This is sooooooooo good.

It's time the world starts thinking of how to do without the USA. They have failed to realise that the role they have in the world is a privilege and not a right. The world should think of devolving and even boycotting their products and services, it will take time but it is extremely doable! For example, India, Kenya, Russia, China, UK can create the social media and softwares to replace Facebook, Google, Microsoft etc...

BBI will solve it

Trump threatens to cut funding for University of California after the university cancels lecture by a Trump supporter. Surely how can people call themselves democrats and liberals and yet they dont want to hear alternative views. Why should a university subdue free speech?

The irony of this whole issue is that democrats aka liberals, those who hitherto preached free speech and freedom of conscience and thought, and tolerance, dont want to accommodate any alternative views. They have been attacking Trump supporters. Trump supporters may have to arm themselves and protect "uthamaki".

Let’s face it, US has been great partly and significant so, because the world has viewed her as a force for good – well meaning. If or when that the US gives the world reason to believe that they no longer represent that position, then that would be watershed moment!

This is to say, if Trump were to continue on the trajectory he is on right now – sliding all the way - with arrogance, bullying, threatening to dishonour treaties, humiliating allies like Australia, threatening war on Iran off hand – no diplomacy, not promoting of confidence/stability/predictability - in regard to if the world can bank on US – in terms of its actions utterances and general behaviour – then that point may be deemed to have arrived.

If that be so, her influence around the globe would dwindle considerably including such measures as - rejecting US Dollar as the world reserve currency, among other backlash options.
But the US consists of institutions such as congress, state governments, Federal Judicial system – all of which would not ordinarily let matters slide to such levels. Trump would be tossed out like a hot potato.

Continued demand and arm-twisting Companies to make their products in US in order to sell in US, despite free market dictates will only result in either
- Diminishing those companies – as their products will be uncompetitive outside the US.
- Subjecting the US consumer to inordinate price of goods while others enjoy similar products at lower costs.
All these while operating a virtually protectionist and closed market system – for how long though – it’s not clear.
And Trump had better be president for ‘life’ otherwise the day he leaves office, and those crazy laws are lifted, that same day an avalanche of better priced goods will flow in – effectively killing the hitherto local companies.

He will arm twist them and have some limited success with factories not closing and moving to Mexico or China....IMHO....however, he will not save or create as many jobs as he imagines.

Surely how can you blame Trump for bringing back manufacturing industries and jobs back to the US? Why should Apple be manufacturing their overpriced gadgets in china using slave labour? Did you see how ohuru was excited when Volkswagen started manufacturing cars in Kenya? The benefits to the economy are immense from jobs, taxes, forex savings, R&D, technology transfer etc etc. Is kenya better off or worse when OMO and Colgate are being manufactured in Egypt rather than Kenya unlike before when factories were in Kenya? Every president should stand for his/her people. This free market upuzi should stop. #AmericaFirst #AmericanJobs #MAGA.

Then why have you Kenyans been complaining when local companies eg Unilever close their factories in Kenya and take manufacturing elsewhere? Should we be encouraging companies to close their factories in kenya and then dump their finished good in Kenya?

His policies* have been out in public domain for past maybe 2 yrs and Americans knew about them and they identify with them and that is why the elected him as president with an overwhelming electoral college majority. And as president he has faithfully followed up and implemented his campaign promises. So where does "lunatism" come in?

*policies include:
-bring jobs back to America
-strengthen national security
-build wall to prevent illegal immigration
-freeze admission of refugees
-extreme vetting of individuals from terror prone countries
-put america and americans first

So how can you say this won't end well when Americans are happy (except selfish immigrants living in big cities)?

Trump supporters say that he is a respectable man who has kept his campaign promises unlike what many politicians do. They say Trump is a man of his word. Immigrants in cities will scream and badmouth Trump as much as they want but the real Americans (in small towns and rural areas) who are the majority are very happy with Trump.
