Though a sad decision, let us discuss this.

Its said the tenderprenuers own some major LPG filling stations and that they margin has been on the downward trend since the intro of the universal valve, 8 years ago.

Some analysts says its all political since @RAO has been manufacturing and selling more LPG cylinders after the market was liberalized when the universal valve was introduced.

The universal valve definitely opened up the market however the lack of controls has brought in unscrupulous refillers who actually control the market.

I believe those are the fellows being targeted.

It's a failure on the police and the regulating body especially considering the hazard involved.
