2. The Kikuyus did not assimilate properly

There is no difference between the two scenarios.

A big difference between the two.
A Kikuyu or any other Kenyan are within their constitutional rights to visit, settle ,own and live anywhere within the lboundaries of Kenya as legal citizen. They don't need any Visa. Trump executive order is to foreigners outside USA from few selected countries well known for exporting terrorism. They need a visa.

so if a constitution says you don't have rights - you don't have them?

secondly... Kindly enlighten us on how many Americans have been killed by citizens of the 7 countries on American Soil? Then find out the descent and nationality of the killers of Americans on American soil and explain why they are not on the list.

Thirdly, So what happens to Christians running away from persecution in Iraq, Libya and Syria? Are they still welcome?

Trump is NOT targeting muslims. He only singled out 7 countries which have been overrun by terrorists like ISIS, houthis, alshabaab, or have in the past been classified as state sponsors as terror by CIA like Iran, Sudan. For countries overrun by terrorists its difficult to screen travelers and some of the fighters/terrorists could slip through to the US.

FYI the countries with the biggest muslim populations are Indonesia, Malaysia, pakistan, India, Turkey, Egypt, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, morocco, Algeria, Jordan etc and none has been banned. Note that only 20% of the world's muslims live in arab countries.

Also note that if you are a christian, yazidi, budhist, atheist, animist etc from those 7 banned countries you are still banned from entering the US. So one cant say that Trump has banned muslims. If you are a muslim from e.g. kenya, tanzania, mali, gambia, malaysia, kazakhstan, serbia, lebanon, turkey etc etc you are still welcome in the US.

Where is Qatar and Saudia on that list?

It's amazing that so many of us are being fooled by Trump and the terrorist rhetoric. But I guess that's our lot as 'mass men'.

Interesting!

Tough immigration policy per se isn't necessarily an evil thing.

Discrimination is evil though.

But what Trump has done is plain wrong!

Lets take the case of people who already have valid visas and resident in the US, or those who have green cards, then happen to or need to travel abroad. Their dilemma should concern all people who believe that injustice anywhere is injustice everywhere!

After getting their legally valid residency status in US, these people adjusted their lives significantly in order to live/settle there - trusting that the instruments they have from the federal govt mean what they ought to mean.

Alas, then Trump happens!!

I'm usually ok with your alternative facts but this one is distasteful.

I don't mind his Trumpians agreeing with it. I have lived with them and they are white trash and uneducated about life...That's their perogative.

However, this conversation where an African can take the side of a white supremacist is just outright distasteful. I'm even puking.

I know of very many young and old Kenyans right now in the US who are scared to death about what's happening.

When a gov't picks out people who are LEGALLY in the US, who have done nothing wrong but work. Then this gov't says that these people are POTENTIAL terrorists, I'm sorry my friend.

That is white supremacy.

I'm sorry for you because I'm 100% certain that even you cannot get that Visa to visit the land of this lunatic.

There is nothing good that can be said about targeting one tribe because your tribe is superior.

Honestly hardwood, let's argue about the border wall.

This one is too close to home.

Even as we speak, some people are afraid of buying land in some areas because they don't have a visa to to areas in this country.

Shocking to see an African write some of the stuff you are writing.
Thieves are not good people. Tumeelewana?

But they are busy battling houthi terrorists in Yemen. How can they be listed as bad guys?
