Why many Kenyans are not resting easy in America

Extracts:

David Amakobe, a Kenyan-born immigration activist in Middletown, Delaware, says Trump’s Executive Order has four basic priorities for deportation.

1. Those convicted of any offence. (Parking ticket)

2. Those who have been charged of a crime, but not convicted. (Jay walking, driving while black)

3. Those who have broken the law but have neither been charged nor convicted.

4. People with final administrative deportation orders.

Simon Kamau, a Kenyan-born resident of Lancaster, Pennsylvania is one of an estimated four million immigrants in the US who had hoped they would qualify for the Deferred Action for Parents of Americans program announced by President Obama in 2014.

This was meant to allow undocumented parents with children who are US citizens to qualify for permission to work and a temporary protection from deportation if they met certain conditions.

However, President Trump has promised to rescind them.

Mr Amakobe says it is the wrong time to be an illegal immigrant in the US.

“But, people should know that this too shall pass because America has been here several times before.

Soon, there is going to be a backlash and the country (Trump) will come back to its senses,” he says.

Ni kubaya. I have friends who were planning to come over....They don't care risk it.

Do you know that the somali fellow who's always beating Kenyans in the 5k may not go back to his family in the USA.

He's stuck in Ethiopia right now...But he's a Somali with a British passport.

According to Trump, even if you are a Canadian but your mother was a Somali, you can't go to the US...

This is simply and plainly religious persecution...Things that Adolf Hitler was very good at....

Don't dare go to that embassy in gigiri as a muslim...You shall not get that visa...that I can guarantee.

If you are Kenyan even with a green card, kaa chonjo. If you are a student in Kenya, don't take the risk. If you are a muslim, huko sahau.
Thieves are not good people. Tumeelewana?

Even a green card wont save you...#You'reBANNED #You'reFIRED. An important lesson from this saga is that people should build their own countries and not always run away to enjoy what Americans have struggled to build. Build your little America at home.

This in itself is a gross violation of the American constitution, even level headed republicans John Mccain & Lindsey Graham agree hii ni upuzi. Next thing, Trump fires security council top heads and replaced by Steve Bannon!! SMH!

Glad the federal court has stopped the BAN!

How do you welcome such people if these are the kind of placards they are waving in the US? Fact: Trump never banned muslims, he only banned citizens of 7 terror prone countries.

The court order only stopped deportation of those who had been detained in american airports after the Trump order became effective. That is those who had just landed or were in transit and had been detained in airport lounges. Otherwise the ban remains and currently no airline is allowing citizens of those 7 countries into their planes. At US airports border security have been ordered to enforce the ban.

New York Times wrote:
WASHINGTON — A federal judge in Brooklyn came to the aid of scores of refugees and others who were trapped at airports across the United States on Saturday after an executive order signed by President Trump, which sought to keep many foreigners from entering the country, led to chaotic scenes across the globe.

The judge’s ruling blocked part of the president’s actions, preventing the government from deporting some arrivals who found themselves ensnared by the presidential order. But it stopped short of letting them into the country or issuing a broader ruling on the constitutionality of Mr. Trump’s actions.

lets face it... this is equivalent to the Barbarians being thrown into the colosseum to fight against others... with lions being raised behind them. The crowds loved it! it was a gimmick, a side-show! let's go through the list of countries

Quote:
Iraq <- hardly nothing there...
Syria <-- clawing back and if someone was to leave the country they would have left
Iran <-- they have received the brunt of this in two ways... they are enemies of Saudis and Obama put them on the spotlight with the deal
Sudan <--- Not too sure many sudanese actually go to the US and are just 'let in'. not too sure they go anywhere other than Mecca. I could be wrong!! I
Libya <- hardly nothing there...
Somalia <-- we know this place... it's next door!
Yemen <-- currently the battleground of Iran and Saudi d*ck measuring contests.

From this list -

Let's look around the world for problematic places
Quote:

Pakistan, Afghanistan, Indonesia

The sources?
Quote:

Saudis, Qataris, UAE to some extent!

Heck there was even a terror attack last year december in Egypt! Tunisia... anyone?

This list is a joke.... meant to B.S the masses.

Somalis attacked us just yesterday and you dont think that is a problem? Half of Syria, Libya and Iraq has been overrun by ISIS who are beheading people left right and center and still you dont think that is a problem? Houthi rebels have overun Yemen and still you want Trump to admit them into the US? Sudan and Iran have been classified as state sponsors of terrorism for past 20yrs and still you dont see any problem there? And you want Trump to admit all these people into the US because you think these are not "problematic places"?

I am saying - these are fall boys!! the people sponsoring these groups... the real terrorists are not on the list!! What was the biggest issue raised about the Clinton Foundation with the Qatari and Saudi governments?
As far as people killing each other...

they should be banning lawn mowers!

I'm beguning to suspect that Trump's role for the elite is to facilitate the breaking away from a dollar centric world by playing on the Triffin paradox and encouraging the world to ask for a new global order.

I really don't think that "building a wall" is what most people are pissed about - he campaigned on it! he said he will build a "big beautiful wall".. it was going to be "YUGE!" and won! so case closed!! The immoral thing is forcing another country to pay for it! Did Palestinians pay for it? If you engage in public works - pay for them!

Secondly, I understand the reason you may want to block out large numbers of people from certain communities that are flooding in. The whole brexit response/reaction. It's all human psychology really. When @kiash went to the US alone. On a plane full of white faces he arrived and lived in a white looking community he had to change. His rough edges were softened and by now he is very much assimilated. When @tokyo went to japan - he had to figure it out. He possibly learnt the language and fitted in. For large of groups of people - this doesn't happen! They move as hordes and since they are still within communities that affirm their beliefs and don't need to change, sometimes they discuss the weirdness/ugliness and differences of the way of life of locals compared to theirs and their sub society becomes an echo chamber that reverberates their skewed opinions - we get the kind of "asante ya punda ni mateke" response Germans are getting from Syrians. The new group of Arabs cannot assimilate they live in communities in their thousands. unlike the previous groups. That is looking like the weakness of open door policies. On the flipside - it's kinda what pissed off Europeans about the Jews over the centuries. It pissed of Idi Amin over the Asians, Kinda what pissed of Kaleos about Kyuks in Kiambaa in Eldoret. But town... haina shida... everyone has to put up with everyone and it generally works out.

Anyone who believes that targeting a particular community wholesale because that community is the source of their problems also believes that the Kikuyus in Rift Valley deserved to be killed in the past clashes.

These are the same arguments that were advanced

1. The kikuyus stole their jobs/land
2. The Kikuyus did not assimilate properly
3. Everyone should go back to their homes

There is no difference between the two scenarios.

A big difference between the two.
A Kikuyu or any other Kenyan are within their constitutional rights to visit, settle ,own and live anywhere within the lboundaries of Kenya as legal citizen. They don't need any Visa. Trump executive order is to foreigners outside USA from few selected countries well known for exporting terrorism. They need a visa.

It's amazing that so many of us are being fooled by Trump and the terrorist rhetoric. But I guess that's our lot as 'mass men'.

Having just read Tokyo's excuse for religious, tribal and national intollerance I guess, I'm in the monority.

To my friends. I don't judge people because of their tribe, religion or visa status..I believe your character is good enough for me.

But it seems there are some "christians" who believe there shall be a visa in heaven...

Let me exit from this post as I ponder.

I always wondered how wars were started and I'm afraid I'm just about to experience the beginning of the worst. Where man can give justification with "facts" on how hating another man, is THE GODLY THING TO DO.

Humbaglar now I understand you..

Peace and adios.
