Why is it difficult to locate them and kill them before they attack? How do they hide the trucks they load with explosives? I don't get it alshabab operate like mungiki.... they are in towns as normal people... doing business... herding livestock and whatever else.... then they organize for meet ups to drill the jihad shit and strategize attacks... come back in villages and continue living happily.... until they get phone calls to mobilize for attacks.... they meet... distribute uniforms or bandanas and head for their evil missions.... once it's over.... they sneak back to wherever they came from. no camps that can be flattened by drones or any thing easily targetable Life expectancy of an alshabaab fighter,37yrs. ISIS fighters have been defeated. Alshabaab will also be crushed. I salute KDF solders for ensuring Kenyan and Somali citizens have peace. If KDF withdraws from Somalia, alshabaab shall regroup and pose a major threat to East africa just like boko haram in West africa.

The US spent 13 years in Afghanistan and 2 years after they left in 2014, the Taliban have recaptured most of the country. 6 years after their colourful invasion I really wonder about KDFs long term strategy here except watching as 50 or so troops get killed every other month. The other day the Ugandan Chief of Defence was almost torn to pieces by a suicide attack in Mogadishu. That happened 10 years after Mogadishu was captured by the Ugandan army from Shabaab. Once KDF and UPDF start their withdrawals in 2018 the real music will begin to play. Mark 12:29 Deuteronomy 4:16

I believe this narration. If they had killed so many KDF soldiers as they claim, we would be seeing their postings on social media already. So far, they have only shown four bodies in Jilib

After the reading the accounts in the standard newspaper I just recalled that miserable song by Leonard Cohen Quote:Everybody knows that the dice are loaded Everybody rolls with their fingers crossed Everybody knows that the war is over Everybody knows the good guys lost Everybody knows the fight was fixed The poor stay poor, the rich get rich
That's how it goes Everybody knows
Everybody knows that the boat is leaking Everybody knows that the captain lied Everybody got this broken feeling Like their father or their dog just died...
And everybody knows that you're in trouble Everybody knows what you've been through From the bloody cross on top of Calvary To the beach of Malibu Everybody knows it's coming apart Take one last look at this Sacred Heart Before it blows And everybody knows

When a Doctor goes to the hospital,he knows that when a sick person comes to him,he treats him/her,that is a doctors job, when a shopkeeper goes to work,he knows when a customer shows up,he sells his merchandise to the customer ,that is his job. When a soldier goes to work (war),when the enemy shows up,the soldier engages him, that is the soldiers job.The tragedy is the soldier will either eliminate the enemy or the enemy kills the soldier. When i hear occupation risk allowance in some professions, None should be higher than a soldier, allowance. Advice is like snow. The softer it lands the harder is sticks.

Once KDF and UPDF start their withdrawals in 2018 the real music will begin to play. And with all due respect, what will you gain? Majority of Somalis, Syrians, Afghanis etc want to live under God's law. If the Islamic Courts Union which brought peace to Somalia after a decade of war had been allowed to continue who knows where Somalia would be today. However 11 years since USA sent its slave girls to invade the country and take down the ICU the blood shed continues with no end in sight. These countries will never embrace democracy and until we realize it they will continue to emphasize it! Mark 12:29 Deuteronomy 4:16

This is a commonly repeated falsehood. Once these people get a taste of living under Shariah law, they reject it. No one wants to live under Al Shabaab's version of Shariah law where the internet is banned and TV is banned. Somalis were up in arms when they could not even watch the world cup in 2010 because Al Shabaab banned it. If groups like Al Shabaab and the Talibahn are so sure that Somalis and Afghans want Shariah law then instead of fighting and taking power by force, they should follow the democratic route: Form an islamic party and participate in elections. If Islamic law is so popular, then they should win.

So what is now coming out is that the shabaab overran the camp and killed several of our KDF before fighter jets flew in hours later and scattered the enemy who had taken over the camp

Sadly, the body bags count might be over 30! So those fighter jets we see on national days are for entertainment only? We are told they can fly to Somalia in minutes yet they took hours to get there!
