@chaka... What to say..it was at 26 5months ago..with a dividend of 2.50...books close today....it's at 35 again...and i'm selling.....annual trend for last 4 years now. Will be down again toward end of year...and up again by may next year. I think this is the only predictable feature in my portfolio...

This year likely to be fundamentally different from other years. june 1 2009,Total Plc (the parent) takes over Chevron. Deal is sealed and all regulatory approvals obtained. Tot(K) then starts the process of buying those assets through some financing mechanisms yet to be worked out. depending on how the deal is to be financed,price likely north. Watch this space. Not quiting yet.
