Guys,

How do I avoid heart surgery now that it is apparent we don't have a hospital/doctor that can deal with 'narrowed' heart arteries?I cannot affort to travel to SA!

1. Excercise atleast 3 times a week ( 20 mns)

2. Eat whole foods, fruits and grains.

3. Ensure you get 8 hrs sleep.

4. If you must then do nyama tumbukiza.

5. Do a comprehensive check up each year.

After exercises, eating right, wonderful nutrition,etc..........Remember to pray to the Almighty to save you from such terrible diseases! He is well able to keep you away from the surgeons!

Exodus 15:26
He said,'If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes. If you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees. I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Eqyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.'

But you shall remember the LORD your God,for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth, that He may confirm His covenant which He swore to your fathers,as it is this day. Deu 8:18

I agree with Eli: pray and again I say pray. I did just that when the doctor thought I was getting a heart attack this february. Then came confirmation of cancer. I got my church and all my friends praying and guess what,a CAT scan two weeks ago showed the tumors are all gone after a few rounds of chemo. My doctor ( she is Muslim) cannot figure what is going on but I can; it is God!

He who watches over me neither sleeps nor slumbers! & I shall dwell in His house forever.

@ MJ,

I guess if you have been working non-stop for 10 years, work will look like leave and leave will look like work.Yaani hapana leta kazi kwa mchezo. If the guy was offered to be paid outstanding leave days or go on leave for 10 months he would take the money.........

at my last count we had 3 heart specialists who can intervene if you need the operation you describe. they are all in NAI and they are all overwhelmed with work.

KNH,Nairobi Hospital and Karen Hospital are equipped for the procedure.

If you are flying to SA with heart issues you need more complicated things than opening up arteries. this can include a heart transplant.

BTW. the first ever heart transplant was in SA,a big achievement for Africa :)
