The power blackouts are unbecoming, what is cutting? Is this motivated so that the IPP guys-the one who use diesel generators to generate-can make a kill. The end results will be expensive bills to consumers. Are we back to Gichuru era...

Power is back. They are saying that it was a major blackout covering Nairobi and several other regions. It was due to some problem with one of their major substations.

The water rationing is also suspect...why do we not conserve rain water? I thought the heavy el nino type rains we saw in 2016 would be enough to sustain us for a long time.

lovely how a line cut or fault power station equipment can throw whole regions into a blackout.this is very fertile ground for serious economic sabotage
