An unbiased reading of this CBA between government and KMPDU of June 2013, does indeed show:
https://files.acrobat.com/a/prev...e-4ace-907d-72ffdb4c976a1. as with most strikes, primary issues began with Union Rights and checkoff from members
2. no agreement was reached on some items, with them being enclosed showing different positions (job groups, residency, internship)
3. salary & allowance proposals (~300%) suspended until such time when SRC will provide clear guidelines
Can government continue to train/pay/develop a worker class who they can't manage?
Can doctors work with civil servants who have made political pursuits (governors, MPs, MCAs, etc) the only worthy ones in Kenya?
If both sides have a case, how does everyone get out of this muddle?
