My unqualified prediction says baba will run with Mdvd. Kalonzo will also run for 3rd to work with the winner. Wet will be irrelevant. But if baba can say Mdvd tosha although we doubt he can, it will set the stage for a very interesting election.

BBI will solve it

Too tight and too early to call.
It will only get clear when the Cord lineup is known.

The guy just states every possibility under the sun, then if one comes true, he says SI NILIKUAMBIA!

One thing Mutahi states and which i hold true, there will be bloodshed before or after elections. That is what baba is working on and preparing us for.

Violence is not a monopoly. There are other suspects who also sponsor such stuff.

Sad.

A big factor that needs to be considered will become evident in the 3 months after January 20. Remember Kofi Anan did not bring himself to Kenya. It was part of pressure from the west. You can be sure Uhuru and Ruto have their ears on the ground on the mood of Trump administration and the Republican congress towards Africa and Kenya in particular. If something major happens to preoccupy the Americans or Trump gives the indication that Africas problems are not Americas problems you can be sure government crackdown will be swift and ruthless. Raila could be treated like Besigye.

Saw there are more than 2 million identity cards that have not been collected by those who applied. Does this mean these people are jobless? do you get an employment in Kenya without an ID ? do you have a phone without an ID??
All the same if this is true, the Murang'a trick might work.If it does not, then the tyranny will be dead.Elsewhere they can say no s*x without ID.

I fear as much as you do.
Again like you I agree it is good to face reality as opposed to the burying of heads in the sand that is so prevalent here.

You can force people to get voters card but you cant force them to go out and vote.I bet on the voting day those voters will be so drunk they wont even know where the voting centres are. They need to give them reasons to vote.

This seems to be the sentiment amongst most of us except 36 bloggers.

We should set our goals higher.

I guess this was true of last elections too. Where has that taken us!

Replacing Monkeys in Forest A with Monkeys from Forest B isn't the solution.

Is it possible to get a breed of Kenyans whose focus is what is in the best interest for Kenya.

The question is in - how? and that's where we need to engage.

Interesting how CORD is suddenly very happy with Mutahi after all the insults they hurled at him due to his earlier "tyranny of nos" theory......
