The supply has outstripped the demand today. May stabile at 5.80 though.

Capital expenditure determines scoms bottom line. Last year capital expenditure was 20something billion. This means profit for scom can change in very big ways depending on capital expenditure, this however makes the long term picture a bit clearer. This months annual profits report matter little, its worth noting 245billion was transacted on mpesa the past financial year, do the financial models to weigh the significance.

i read somewhere that sterling investment bank had predicted that Safcom will reach Ksh 7.10. IMOHO . that's a dream. kwanza when the price just reaches Ksh 6.00 the wanjiku investor sells lik crazy....pushin the price down....


Now why cannt mumias reach Ksh 20.00. i know the traget price is Ksh 16.00/= but let me consult the gods and hope they can make it reach 20.00/=

Morgan Stanley recently valued SafCom @6.40 so you can expect heavy exits between that and 7.00.. correcting it back.
