@masukuma, I had asked for your input on this stupid debate and unatupimia kama dawa.
Is it true that in cases (Ghana & Nigeria) where electronic identification is used, turnouts reduce drastically. Or more precisely, dead voters stop voting.
We are not worried about transmission since we can verify and counter-check the actual results even in gatundu.
In your opinion, where are we likely to see these rigging shenanigans ?
Am of course assuming that you love this nation more than your payslip.

hebu niulize.... hii system watu wanataka NI GANI? coz no one has answered me yet! is it the current set of tech? do we want to "clean slate" everything - procure new shiny machines and register people 7 months to an election? eh? we are really pressed for time and the longer this debate continues - the longer it becomes apparent that the tech will not change. With all due respect, Mr. Seventh Day Adventist, I am disgusted with your statement. I take it The Honourable Mpig has broken some Law. I did not expect you to waste your precious time drafting some “turn the other cheek” gibberish. I expected you, and hereby demand that you do so, to “go forth to the battlefield, pick up a smooth stone, fix it into your sling and strike this uncircumcised Philistine between the eyes below his helmet, bringing him crushing down.” I then expect you, and hereby demand that you do so, to “go up to him, draw his sword and cut his head off.” I figure you know how to do this by the Constitution. Ili ewe funzu. Unless you do this, I will have no choice but to conclude that this Our Land and Nation sent forth a pussycat to do a Lion’s job. Do you feel me?

Also a bit lost but from what I understand, Baba and team want the elections done digitally no manual even if the equipment fails, Jubilee on the other hand says the elections will be done digitally but in the event that the equipment fails then the manual register can be legally used as a backup, But i think although we should go digital we at least should have the old good backup to finish. Niko na swali tu...the change on iebc originated from that select committee and it went to parliament and was passed ..OK .that committee had kiraitu and Orengo finest law politicians we have in our country .
Then I agree some changes have to be made incase of system failure . Why can't such changes be taken back to the same committee that came up with the same law?why can't the modus of oparandi originate from same committee that came up with the law in the first case ? Why bulldoze it through people who know little about laws? Just asking

So far the plan is working, It is already December, with 8 months to go, we do not have an IEBC commission, we have the law but CORD does not recognize it. They will bleed as much time as possible with this issue then bleed some more time with the selection of the commission and then boom! time is up and whatever elections we hold will automatically not be credible and therefore the only Government that is fair is NUSU MKEKA.

I see people reacting victory when the law was passed others cried foul. Things have to be ironed out first before ballot. Do you feel me? Are we clear on what the mandate of a Judge/Justice is!!!! What exactly (cut out the innuendos and parables) are we to expect the CJ to do! Incidentally, having made the pronouncements he made, were the matter to go through the paces and eventually reach a court that he is supposed to sit in, he would have to recuse himself on account of having taken a public position on the same! OMG! Babu could be right! Am in Muranga town and a drunk youth has shown me three different ID cards.He has registered as a voter in Muranga South,East and North! That explains the rush to change the laws. Truth forever on the scaffold

That explains the rush to change the laws. You can register 10 times...some walalo in 2012 had register 8 times you will not be in the register of voters. you will appear on a supplemetary list of people that need to be arressted in All the places you had registered to vote in. biometrics are at work. All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!
