Did she not get care and medication in those 4 hours?

what kind of care is that costing US $ 500 per hour or $ 6,000 per day?

List the medication and items used first then we shall discuss. On that note, I hope you have insurance because healthcare is expensive.

Why did you start the discussion if you didn't have the list of medication and items used in those 4 hrs

Look again, I did not start the discussion. Its foolish to imagine that the patient got no help and care when they got to hospital, someone has to pay for the drugs syringes, gloves, gauzes, ointments respiratory devices like masks and equips like cylinders, docs pay, anaesthetias pay, etc. If you've never been to an ER facility don't just judge. Thank God treatment doesnt come cheap

I think the hospital has a moral obligation to waive such charges irrespective of the costs they incurred. It would be inhuman to detain the body and subject the grieving family to even more sorrow after the horrific accident. It would be a way of the hospital giving back to society, part of CSR.

It's also foolish to imagine that its justified to charge $2,000 for 5 hrs for medical care.

If you have also never been to a public hospital, stop validating and thank God

You have never been to any ER let alone one in a public hospital. Costing is not done by time but by what was used to treat you. Leave the hotel room/lodging mentality out of this

Having had experience with that hospital twice in falsified ICU charges........ Only nabbed by Doctor friends. Another method they are using is subjecting you to unneccesary tests. Ujambazi exists there bigtime!!!!!

Donald Trump wants the white house painted!
Chinese guy quoted 3 million
European guy quoted 7 million
Kenyan guy quoted 10 million.
Trump asked Chinese guy; "explain your quote"!
Chinese said:
1 million for paint
1 million for labour
1 million profit.
He asked European, who said:
3 million for paint
2 million for labour
2 million profit.
He then asked the Kenyan who answered:
4 million for me
3 million for you
3 million will give it to the Chinese guy to paint.

An unjustified MRI after a fall while hiking in Kilimanjaro set me back 200k. I was admitted for 2 days and the bill totaled kshs.435,000...but truth be told healthcare ya huko sio ya walala hoi....iko juu. Thats why our bigshots get admitted there for first aid before being flown overseas

KENYA is the ultimate lawless jungle. The modern day wild wild west.

Less than a week ago, another drunk 'executive' knocked down another citizen with his guzzler, killing him on the spot after aledgedly bribing through an alcoblow roadblock.
If we go by what happened with the drunk 'executive' who knocked and killed a guard a few months ago or the pastor who killed a lady with his car or the many other cases that just die a planned death, then we know what to expect here as well... I wish we were a country that was vigilant enough to follow up on what we know are well planned cold cases.

BBI will solve it
