Public service in Kenya is truly a task. The tide of goodwill has turned against the CBK governor. Besmirched by trolls on Twitter everyday, the man has shunned the medium since. Are these the ghosts of receivership?

Now Ahmednasir is on his case regarding the board recently appointed by Uhuru - see letter to EACC

The low down: GMulla is counsel for Imperial depositors, it is in his client's/ case to show that the decisions Opus made were done unilaterally since there was no BoD and therefore it was 'wrong' to put Imperial in receivership.
All these pple saying Opus was wrong to take the decisions he did (whether they were right or wrong), what did they want him to do - let CBK stay in limbo for 2 years? In any case he was not the appointig authority for the CBK BoD so why is he being taken to task? I know for a fact some of the decisions he took are so heavy (such as to place a bank under receivership) that no one man would want to take that decision alone - you would want it to be a board decision.

Quite telling @Intelligentsia. Whatever the case, another day, another grilling for the man who was once the toast of the town. This time by MPs about Chase Bank, etc.

I'd rather give him the benefit of the doubt. I don't trust mps with their vested interests
