Kenyans feel sweet when they are robbed by their tribes men and very bitter when they are robbed by members from other tribes. If we were objective, Uhuru, Ruto, Raila, Wetangula, Mudavadi are all tainted and should not be near anywhere in Leadership in this Country...not even leadership of a cattle Dip

Et all, what i am pinpointing is that there are loopholes that nobody has ever bothered to address in the procurement processes and procedures for Government tenders. That is where we need to start to streamline things. My take. In the business world, everyone is paid in two coins - cash and experience. The company importing the 1.4m also has to add all the company expenses to final cost e.g. worker salaries, rent, transport, workers medical, pension, housing allowances etc etc gov't taxes and the company still needs a profit. You don't expect them to sell to gov't at import cost then dig into their pockets to pay tax, workers, pension etc etc. That is why they sell a bic pen to govt at 70 bob. You should be ashamed of yourself.You cannot add the cost of fombe,mpango wa kando and all your other expenses to the final consumer.If this was the money for these officers,would they spend it the same way?This is broad day thuggery and all the extra moneys need to be recovered from these officers. And for your info Ohurus kin are not associated with Estama and therefore never imported any portable clinics.  Portfolio: Sold

A used seafreight container is worth not more than Kes 200,000. drilling windows, doors etc would cost another kes 25,000 at jogoo road, anyone accepting a bid for Kes 10 M is stealing and rather opening and foolishly comfortable in the knowlege that they are untouchable. For Kes 10M, you can construct a very comfortable 5 bedroomed house fully furnished (ignoring cost of land). I doubt there was ever any tendering or bidding for this project. Same way the tribesmen of those in power are ready to have them stay in power. In Kenya, it feels sweet to be robbed by your tribesman.

All these are excuses. Its not systems. Its not even people close to those in power. Its the people we elected. Do not look elsewhere. In Kenya, most people run for political office to steal. If the two top guys wanted to kill corruption in government, they would show it in word and deed.
