Is it too much to predict a US/Euro/Easteuro alliance based on white supremacists ideology emerging somewhere on the horizon.

Fueled by a determination to continue plundering the resources of the rest of the world.

The Chinese and Indians being emerging economies and powers would be major casualties of all this.

Africa we shall remain collateral damage to anything happening in the "real world"

I knew all along that the winds of change were hitting us... for me I asked myself - which president would be more useful to africa? I thought... Hillary! Trump will make America insular. Next Markel, Italy itoke EU. inward looking stuff. Switzerland in 2014 put measures to discriminate asylum seekers. The west will become more insular and that will not help us. Sisi tubaki hapa tukicheza pata potea (Betting) that there is a mzungu somewhere with cash to burn and then kaza kunyi that he will spend that cash here.

I think that the supremacists as you call them, but isolationists as I think they are, happen to be undermining the very organisations that for all intents do the actual plundering of world resources. That are Nato and the Eu with their intricate NGO inspired political events in countries of interest. I think it is good for these organisations to be undermined even at the surface then perchance us, the grass, might get a rest.

But like during brexit I opine not much will change hereafter. Perhaps local NGOs will get reduced funding from USAID and things like that. But that is not necessarily bad is it?

@Obi and @masukuma you are not taking into consideration the most important thing in play in US/Euro-the aging population. Africa demographics still the best asset around. US/EU going introvert opens Africa for the chinese/indian capital.Trump is not going to allow that-we are likely to see a competition for capital especially in East Africa. Let's not forget that Trump was among the first real estate guys to notice Nairobi upperhill as ripe for redevelopment when he was thinking of redeveloping the golf course with Kenya railways. Until ofcourse he was told the sewer line and roads could not accommodate his towers. African countries with switched on/business like governments will do well under Trump but others like SA where Trump said it's just a mess will baki pale pale. No more begging bowls

You are so right. I guess many German manufacturing companies foresaw this long ago and they pay well to keep the old and experienced. For example, the Audi A6 and R8 assembly plant in Neckarsulm has some of the best paying jobs in the world and yet all machine floor technicians and artisans are never below 45 years of age. In the plant, they are referred to as Silverliners. Now, the reasons are very clear!

@mavegs I thought this has been your natural strategy all along, sitting on the fence. What changed? I commend you if you've become a fighter and risk taker rather than a coward of the county
